Ce produit serait capable de fonctionner sans le brancher à une prise secteur ou allume-cigares, grâce à son panneau réversible loger sur le couvercle d'ouverture de la glacière qui laisse place à un panneau à capteur photovoltaïque qui permettrait d'être alimenté avec de l'énergie produit par le soleil ou bien de fonctionner avec une batterie en cas d'absence total de soleil.
