Abstract

The mechanism has a pretensioned spring (1) exerting pretension force on a disc (5). The disc is disposed in a seat (3) for closing up or liberating a liquid passage (7) through the seat when the pressure is exerted on the disc while the seat is lower or higher to the force of pretension. A tapered section (9) of the seat is envisaged for tight fit of the seat, where the mechanism is tightly fitted in a valve stem (13). An independent claim is also included for a tight fit valve having a valve stem and a valve mechanism.
