Abstract

The concrete vibrating accessory includes a tube (9) which is fitted to the spinning output shaft of an electric drill (8) by a threaded end piece. This tube lies inside an outer larger tube (1) which is closed at one end by a plate having an internal pivot (2). The open end of this larger diameter tube is attached to the body of the electric drill and retained by a circular clamp which is retained with a nut and bolt (4,5,6). The rotation of the inner tube by the electric drill within the outer tube causes vibration of the outer tube as a result of their differences in diameter and may be used in order to mix and compact concrete to improve its compactness and strength.
