Pièce intermédiaire de prothèse d'extrémité supérieure d'humérus (I) de forme quadrangulaire et dont les bords et les faces sont marquées d'arêtes verticales (1) (2) (3) visant à améliorer l'ancrage de la pièce pour mieux résister aux contraintes en torsion. La pièce en métal est le support en haut, soit de pièces céphaliques (II) de prothèse de taille variée, soit le support de tout mode d'ostéosynthèse de la tête humérale quand elle conservée. En bas, la pièce (I) peut être jointe en cas de prothèse, à une queue amovible (III) de diamètre et de taille variable par vissage ou encliquettage (5).

PIECE METAPHYSAIRE INTERMEDIAIRE
POUR PROTHESE D'EPAULE
Les prothèses articulaires d'extrémité supérieure d'humérus doivent à la fois être bien ajustées dans la cavité médullaire de la pièce osseuse ou elles sont introduites et faciliter un choix multipie de tailles selon les individus. La pièce de base (figure 1) d'une telle prothèse doit donc être une pièce métallique intermédiaire (I) placée dans la cavité médullaire de la métaphyse osseuse.
Le dispositif de base vise aussi par sa forme à résister aux contraintes en torsion, tout en permettant au chirurgien d'implanter des pièces articulaires (II) et centromédullaires (III) adaptées à chaque cas. Enfin, cette pièce centrale qui sert d'ancrage à une pièce prothétique pour remplacer la tête humérale, peut aussi servir d'appui à tout dispositif d'ostéosynthèse visant au contraire à la conserver.
La pièce (I) est caractérisée par sa forme grossièrement trapézoïdale (figure 2) dont la base supérieure la plus large est inclinée obliquement de 1300 par rapport à son grand axe longitudinal. C'est sur cette face que sera appliquée la tete humérale de
remplacement en cas de prothèse (II). La petite base à l'autre extrémité de la piéce (I)
est située dans le canal médullaire et reçoit éventuellement la queue de prothèse (III)
de diamètre et de longueur variables.
La pièce est quadrangulaire à la coupe avec des angles vifs (1) et ses faces
latérales sont aussi le site d'arêtes longitudinales (2) (3) visant à favoriser le blocage
contre les parois intérieures du canal médullaire. La base supérieure (A) de la pièce (I)
est munie d'un dispositif d'emboitement (4) avec le matériel céphalique (II) par le
procédé Cône Morse et/ou de type vissage ou encliquetage par tout autre système
équivalent.
La base inférieure (B) de la pièce (I) est munie d'un système (5) permettant de recevoir une queue de longueur et diamètre variable, soit par vissage, soit par tout autre système équivalent.

Claims (4)

  1. REVENDICATIONS
    1- Dispositif constitué d'une pièce métallique (I) ajustée dans la partie supérieure du canal médullaire de l'humérus et servant de module de base, soit à une prothèse, soit à un dispositif d'ostéosynthèse de l'extrémité supérieure articulaire de l'humérus.
  2. 2- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la pièce intermédiaire (I) est de forme globalement trapézoïdale à base supérieure. Sa forme à la coupe transversale est quadrangulaire avec des bords acérés (1) et ses faces sont le site d'arêtes verticales (2) et (3) afin d'améliorer l'ancrage contre les parois intérieures du canal osseux.
  3. 3- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la pièce de base (I) est, par sa face supérieure (A), le support soit d'une pièce céphalique de prothèse (II) par un emboitement de nature variable (4), soit d'un dispositif d'ostéosynthèse intermédiaire de la tête humérale.
  4. 4- Dispositif selon les revendications 1 et 3 caractérisé en ce que la pièce de base (I) peut être le support en bas par sa face inférieure (B) d'une tige métallique (III) de diamètre et de longueur variable (emboitement de type vissage ou encliquetage) (5).
