Abstract

The fastener (4) is for bracelets or watch straps and has a plate (7) on which two arms (5) are articulated. These are connected to the free extremities (2, 3) of the bracelt and each arm is equal to half the length of the plate. The hinges (8) allow them to be moved through 180 deg. so that they can be sepd. to remove or put on the bracelet. Each arm has three tongues (5a) which engage positively in corresponding holes (7a) in the plate to lock the bracelet.
