Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie de la métallurgie. Procédé et installation pour la fabrication de sables broyés à partir de scories de haut fourneau, par ajustement de la température des scories fondues, par refroidissement forcé, d'environ 1 300 degrés C à 850 degrés C, afin de transformer lesdites scories fondues en grains grossiers et durs qui sont ensuite refroidis rapidement à l'eau puis transformés en granules de dimensions et formes désirables. Application à l'utilisation des scories de haut fourneau dans les ciments ou analogues.
