Abstract

Procédé de détection d'une fuite de métal liquide, dans un tube de circulation 12 d'un fluide caloporteur tel que de la vapeur, monté coaxialement dans un tube 10 de circulation de metal liquide. On vide au préalable le métal liquide et le fluide moteur de leurs tubes de circulation respectifs 10, 12. On fait refroidir le tube 12 de circulation du fluide moteur, pour provoquer un dépôt solide de produits de réaction du métal liquide sur ce même tube 12. L'emplacement du dépôt correspond à une fuite du tube 12. On désagrège ensuite le dépôt solide de la fuite 14, par exemple au moyen d'une brosse tournante 22 pour en extraire des particules soumises à un détecteur 30, afin de déterminer l'existence de la fuite 14 dans le tube 12. La position de la brosse 22 au moment de la détection permet de déterminer l'emplacement de la fuite 14. Application à la détection de fuites de sodium dans un tube génerateur de vapeur d'un réacteur surgénérateur.
