Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un chevalet pour le séchage du linge constitué par un montant équipé à sa partie supérieure d'au moins trois bras latéraux, séparés et disposés en faisant entre eux des angles sensiblement égaux, des cordes d'étendage étant tendues entre ces bras. Selon l'invention, la base 1 du montant 2 est fixée 5 dans un manchon 4 ouvert à sa partie supérieure 3 et est constituée par une partie télescopique 6 de moindre hauteur que le manchon 4, l'extrémité supérieure 7 de la partie télescopique porte un élément 8 analogue à un couvercle, plus grand que l'ouverture 3 du manchon 4 et relié, pour les supporter, aux extrémités 10 des bras latéraux 11.
