Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un joint d'arbre à étanchéité assurée par un gaz, comportant une bague tournante, une bague fixe, et des rainures d'introduction de gaz en forme de croissants. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu dans la zone marginale extérieure et/ou intérieure, de chaque côté des rainures en forme de croissants qui sont ménagées dans la bague d'étanchéité non tournante, à savoir, soit dans le côté de la bague non tournante dirigé vers l'intervalle, soit dans le côté de la bague tournante dirigé vers l'intervalle, des évidements en forme d'encoches qui s'étendent, en considérant le sens de rotation, de l'extérieur vers l'intérieur en direction des rainures en forme de croissants. Elle se rapporte à des machines tournantes.
