Abstract

The nozzle is accommodated in a recess formed in the pipe etc, and its body has two diametrally opposite grooves (18, 19) formed in its peripheral surface, running at right angles to its axis. These each align with a similar groove (20, 21) formed in the recess in the pipe (14). A pin (22, 23) is placed in each bore formed by a pair of mating grooves, and is removable. The grooves can be of semi-circular section, and the pins of circular section. The two pins can be joined together to form a single component, and there may be a shoulder on the nozzle body, bearing against a mating shoulder in the recess in the pipe end.
