Claims (6)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en läkemedels-mikrokapselformulation, vilken formulation innehäller ett 5 förtjocknings- eller suspenderingsmedel och ett bindemedel och en fast, finfördelad konstituens och vilken formulation har den egenskapen att den lätt kan dispergeras och lösas i vatten eller i en vattenhaltig bärare utan klump-bildning, sä att den suspenderar läkemedelsmikrokapslarna 10 tili en homogen suspension, kännetecknat där-av, att det omfattar följande steg: a) man framställer ett förtjocknings- eller suspenderingsmedel, vars kornstorlek är under 150 pm (100 mesh Tyler) och som är olösligt eller bara svagt lösligt 15. det lösningsmedel, i vilket bindemedlet löses i steg b); b) förtjocknings- eller suspenderingsmedlet suspen-deras i en lösning av ett i lösningsmedel och i vatten lösligt bindemedel i ett utspatt organiskt lösningsmedel sä, att förtjocknings- eller suspenderingsmedlets viktför- 20 hällande tili bindemedlet är 4:1 - 20:1; c) partiklar av ett vattenlösligt fast sötningsme-del överdras med suspensionen; d) lösningsmedlet avlägsnas genom torkning och den erhällna produkten siktas; och 25 e) den erhällna produkten blandas med läkemedels mikrokapslarna, vilka har ett vattenolösligt membranöver-drag.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att kornstorleken hos förtjocknings- 30 eller suspenderingsmedlet är under 75 pm (200 mesh Tyler).
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att förtjockningsmedlet är en alginat, karrageenan, agar-agar, dragantgummi, xantangum-mi, guargummi, johannesbrödträdsgummi, karayagummi, mo- 35 difierad majsstärkelse, karboximetylcellulosa eller kri- 86596 stallin cellulosa allena eller i kombination med andra hydrokolloider (AVICEL HC-591 frän FMC Corporation).
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-3, kännetecknat därav, att det i vatten och orga- 5 niska lösningsmedel lösliga bindemedlet är metylcellulosa, hydroxipropylmetylcellulosa, hydroxibutylmetylcellulosa, hydroxietylcellulosa, hydroxipropylcellulosa, polyetylen-glykoler, polyvinylalkoholer eller polyvinylpyrrolidon.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-4, 10 kännetecknat därav, att den inerta konstituen- sen är sackaros, laktos, levulos, mannitol, torr sorbitol, maltodextrin, glykokoll, alanin eller pentaerytritol.
6. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-5, kännetecknat därav, att ett ytaktivt medel 15 tillsätts i formulationen före steg d) för att päskynda vätning av förtjockningsmedlet.
