CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE LA (B/C) (3B,16A)-EBURNAMENINA CON PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, EN REACCION DE OXIDACION-REDUCCION EN FASE HETEROGENEA CATALIZADA POR UNA SAL REDUCTORA DE AMONIO CUATERNARIO, TAL COMO BOROHIDRURO DE TETRABUTILAMONIO, EN UNA MEZCLA DE DICLOROMETANO E HIDROXIDO SODICO EN AGUA AL 20%, EN PRESENCIA DE BROMURO DE ETILO, A LA TEMPERATURA DE 20JC; SEGUIDA DE HIDROLISIS SUAVE Y PURIFICACION DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO MEDIANTE CROMATOGRAFIA PREPARATIVA. ESTE COMPUESTO TIENE APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE INSUFICIENCIAS CEREBRALES.
