Abstract

Una aeronave (2) que comprende: una matriz (4) de cámara configurada para, para cada una de una pluralidad de etapas temporales dentro de un período de tiempo, generar una imagen de una porción (32) respectiva de terreno, en el que las porciones (32) de terreno son tales que la totalidad de un área dada de terreno ha sido registrada en imágenes al final del período de tiempo; uno o más procesadores (12) dispuestos para identificar uno o más objetos de interés en las imágenes generadas por la matriz (4) de cámara; y un montaje (6) de cámara que comprende: - un aparato de accesorio para hacerse girar con relación a la aeronave (2) alrededor de un eje (24); - un espejo (16) montado en el aparato de accesorio de tal manera que, si el aparato de accesorio gira, el espejo (16) gira, y giratorio con relación al aparato de accesorio alrededor de un eje adicional (26), siendo el eje adicional (26) sustancialmente perpendicular al eje (24); y - una cámara (14) montada en el aparato de accesorio, de tal manera que la cámara (14) tiene una posición sustancialmente fija en relación al aparato de accesorio, y dispuesta para detectar la radiación electromagnética reflejada por el espejo (16); en la que el montaje (6) de cámara está configurado para, en respuesta a la selección de un objeto particular de interés a partir de uno o más objetos identificados de interés, ser accionado de manera que haga girar el aparato de accesorio alrededor del eje (24) y/o haga girar el espejo (16) alrededor del eje adicional (26), de tal manera que una porción (34) de terreno que la cámara (14) es capaz de registrar en imágenes incluya el objeto seleccionado de interés.
