Selbst wenn der Adapter 2 mit seiner Seitenwange 3 beim Transport über den Boden schleift, bleiben die für eventuelle Sicherheitshinweise notwendigen Kennzeichnungen in den Vertiefungen 29 oder Aussparungen 30 geschützt. Im oberen Bereich der Seitenwangen 3 sind außerdem miteinander fluchtende Durchlässe 31 angeordnet. Über diese Durchlässe 31 können Sicherungsriemen, Sicherungsketten oder andere Sicherungselemente zum Transport oder zur Transportsicherung geführt werden.
