  10. The impact attenuator as set forth in any one of preceding claims 4 to 9, characterized in that the sleeve (6) and the profile (5) have a vertical height that is limited in such a way that they can be driven over by motor vehicles.
  11. The impact attenuator as set forth in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the anchor plate (3) is arranged at an end of the impact attenuator (1) that points in the direction of travel or opposite the direction of travel.
  12. The impact attenuator as set forth in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the damping elements are embodied as at least one row of damping tubes (10).
  13. An impact attenuator arrangement (50) comprising an impact attenuator (1) as set forth in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the impact attenuator (1) is directly adjoined by a connecting structure for a continuing protective device (11).
