Ein über den oberen Geweberand 26 überstehender Endabschnitt des Klebestreifens 56 ist mit einem Querdurchbruch 58 versehen, durch welchen ein Befestigungsmittel 60 des Verbindungsstücks 38 hindurchgreift. Die Klebeverbindung ist dabei derart belastbar, dass bei Überschreiten einer Grenzkraft das Kopfstück 40 aus den Führungsrippen 34 auslöst, so dass eine ungewollte Zerstörung verhindert wird. Je nach vorgesehener Lastaufnahme und Dimensionierung des Plisseegewebes 12 können mehrere Sicherungsstücke 24 beabstandet voneinander an dem oberen Geweberand 26 verteilt angebracht werden.In Figures 4 and 5 the selective connection of the securing element 24 at the upper edge 26 of the pleated fabric 12 is illustrated in more detail. Claims (13)

  1. A pleating device for screening a building opening against insects, having a pleated fabric (12) that is folded several times and can be pulled out in the horizontal direction, a thread system (14) for stabilising the pleated fabric (12) and a guide rail (22) that can be attached to or in the building opening, preferably as a downwardly open U-profile, and which receives the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12), wherein the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12) is secured against displacement out of the guide rail (22) by means of at least one securing element (24), wherein the securing element (24) has a running body (36) movable along the guide rail (22) and a connecting piece (38) attached to the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12), characterised in that the connecting piece (38) is rotatably mounted on the running body (36) about a vertical axis.
  2. The pleating device according to claim 1, characterised in that the securing element (24) is guided in the guide rail (22) and is intermittently connected to the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12).
  3. The pleating device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the running body (36) has an undercut that is preferably guided in a sliding manner on an inner profile structure of the guide rail (22).
  4. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the running body (36) has a guide contour that rests without tilting against at least one side wall of the guide rail (22).
  5. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the running body (36) comprises a head part (40) that can be latched or clicked vertically into the guide rail (22) and can be released, if necessary, under compression.
  6. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the running body (36) is formed as an injection moulded part made of a plastic, preferably containing Teflon.
  7. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the connecting piece (38) is connected firmly to the running body (36) in order to transmit a tensile load.
  8. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the connecting piece (38) is mounted on the running body (36) so as to be rotatable by at least 90°.
  9. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the connecting piece (38) is supported upwards on the running body (36) via a pusher (48).
  10. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the connecting piece (38) is fixed to the pleated fabric (12) via an adhesive point, preferably in the form of an adhesive strip (56) fixed to both sides of the pleated fabric (12) beyond the upper edge (26).
  11. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the connecting piece (38) rests on the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12) via a support disc (54).
  12. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the securing element (24) releases from the guide rail (22) when a predetermined tensile load is exceeded.
  13. The pleating device according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that a plurality of securing pieces (24) is arranged distributed at a reciprocal distance along the upper edge (26) of the pleated fabric (12), wherein the distance is selected in the range of 0.2 to 1.2 m, preferably 0.5 to 0.8 m.
