    said distribution device (1) being characterised in that the bodies (4') of the two intermediate connecting plates (4) are each connected to the body (1') of the distributor (1) by means of a loose retaining and positioning connection (5), which enables limited relative displacements of translation and pivoting of said plates (4) between the latter and/or relative to the body of the distributor (1') and without hindering the final positioning of the latter during assembly with the clamping of the body (1') of the distributor (1) on the cylinder heads with the sandwiching of said plate bodies (4').
  2.   4. Distribution device according to claim 3, characterised in that each receiving and retaining site (8) consists of an open and partially free bearing enabling the introduction of a portion of the shaft or axis (7) by resilient deformation radially in relation to the axis of said bearing.
  5. Distribution device according to claim 4, characterised in that each open bearing (8) is formed by two resilient deformable opposite wings (9), formed on the body (1') of the distributor (1) and having converging free ends (9'), preferably curved, defining between them a passage with a width smaller than the diameter of the shaft or axis portions (7), and in that the different bearings (8) are mutually aligned in a direction parallel to the longitudinal directions of the two rows (2') of pipes (2) defining the common pivoting axis (X) and located between the latter.
  6. Distribution device according to any one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that each plate body (4') is provided with at least two arms (6) or a series of arms (6), that are offset mutually in the longitudinal direction of the respective plate body (4') and in that the two plates (4) are identical in form, said plates (4) being possibly joined together at the ends of their arms (6) by a rotary connection about the pivot axis (X).
  7. Distribution device according to any one of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that at least some portions of the shaft or axis (7) and/or at least some lateral arms (6) of each of the plates (4) are provided with abutments (10), for example in the form of wings or ribs formed in one piece on said portions (7) and/or said arms (6), determining by engaging cooperatively with one or more counter-abutment means (11) formed on the body (1') of the distributor (1) or forming part of the sites (8), at least one position of extreme pivoting, corresponding to the maximal spacing allowed by the body of the plate (4') concerned relative to the ends (2") of the pipes (2) of the row (2') concerned.
  8. Distribution device according to any one of claims 3 to 7, characterised in that each plate body (4') comprises one or more centring and positioning pins (12) designed to engage with one or more corresponding cavities (12') provided in the body of the distributor (1'), and located around the outlet openings (3) of the pipes (2), during the application of the plate (4) concerned onto the ends (2") of the pipes (2) of the row (2') concerned, openings (13) for the passage of screws (16) for fixing and clamping the distributor (1) onto the cylinder heads being preferably also provided in the plate body (4').
  9. Distribution device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the fretted plates forming the plate bodies (4') are provided around each of their openings forming fluid passages, and on each of the two opposite faces of the plate bodies (4') are provided with a groove (14, 14') for receiving a corresponding sealing gasket (15, 15').
  10. Motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine, in particular with V-mounted cylinders, characterised in that it comprises a distribution device (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
  11.   12. Method of assembly according to claim 11, characterised in that during the approach phase of the distribution device (1), the plates (4) are positioned under the effect of gravity, in an extreme pivoting position, resulting in an at least partial retraction of said plates (4) under the body of the distributor (1'), in such a way that they are positioned inside the lateral space requirement of said body (1'), at least for the most part.
