- This invention relates to hair styling attachments, devices and apparatus and, more particularly, to hair styling attachments, devices and apparatus which operate with a hot or warm air source in the hair styling, setting or treating process. More specifically, although of course not solely limited thereto, this invention relates to attachments, devices and apparatus for hair straightening.

- FR-A-2,785,159 has described a hair brushing accessory comprising a hollow body (2) and a plurality of hair treating members (6, 7) for compressively receiving hair in which strands of hair are styled through elastic squeezing by an adjacent pair of hair treating members, the squeezing action means results frictional engagement between the hair treating members and the hair being engaged along a longitudinal direction.
- Such frictional engagement also means that an undesirable longitudinal tension will be applied on the scalp of a user during normal use when the accessory is being drawn towards a free end of the strands of hair. Therefore, improvements to known hair styling attachments are desirable.

These rollers are mounted off-set from the cylindrical axis of the main body and are disposed so that the curved cylindrical surfaces of the corresponding cylindrical rollers are slightly pressing against each other under spring bias.
- the hair treating members 21-25 are mounted on a base housing 26 and are disposed so that the longitudinal axes of the hair treating members are generally parallel to each other with the partially cylindrical hair treating surfaces facing each other and in generally compressive contact.

- the hair treating members 21-25 include a rounded or dome-shaped head 61-65 and the adjacent heads co-operate to form a hair engaging aperture which is convergent towards the downstream end of the main body so that they can gradually approach the hair and easily engage a small bundle of hair between the gaps formed by the adjacent hair treating members. It will be appreciated that the convergent apertures formed between adjacent rounded or dome-shaped heads assist convenient engagement of the desirable portion of hair.
- the hair styling attachment 1 is coupled onto the outlet nozzle of a hot hair blower so that hot air is delivered towards the plurality of hair treating members via the upstream end air inlet 12 .
- the circumferential wall 14 of the main body defines an air enclosure so that the air entering the upstream end 12 will travel towards the downstream end 13 .
- hair treating gaps are formed upon engagement of the hair between the gaps, a portion of the hot air will exit through the base aperture between the adjacent displaced hair treating members and generally travel along the partially cylindrical hair treating surface.

Claims (15)
- Frisieraufsatz (1), der ein Hauptgehäuse (10) und mindestens ein Paar benachbart angeordneter Haarbehandlungselemente (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) umfasst, wobei das Hauptgehäuse (10) einen Lufteinlass (12) umfasst, jedes der Haarbehandlungselemente einen länglichen Körper (51 ; 52; 53; 54; 55) umfasst, der darauf mindestens eine wärmeleitfähige Haarbehandlungsoberfläche (211; 221a; 221b; 231a; 231b; 241a; 241b) aufweist, wobei die Haarbehandlungsoberfläche mit dem Lufteinlass verbindbar ist, und wobei das Paar Haarbehandlungselemente in Druckkontakt ist, um einen Spalt zur Aufnahme des zu behandelnden Haars zu bilden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Haarbehandlungselement (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) einen zylindrischen Hauptkörper mit einer ersten Zylinderachse aufweist, wobei das Haarbehandlungselement mindestens eine Zylinderrolle (33; 341 ; 342; 351 ; 352) umfasst, wobei ihre Zylinderachse im Wesentlichen parallel und versetzt zur ersten Zylinderachse ist, so dass zumindest ein Teil der Zylinderoberfläche der Zylinderrolle von der Zylinderoberfläche des zylindrischen Hauptkörpers freiliegend ist und den zylindrischen Körper bildet und von der Haarbehandlungsoberfläche (211; 221a; 221b; 231a; 231b; 241a; 241b).
- Frisuraufsatz nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die wärmeleitfähige Haarbehandlungsoberfläche (211; 221a; 221b; 231a; 231b; 241a ; 241b) um eine Achse drehbar ist, die parallel zu der Längsachse des länglichen Hauptkörpers des Haarbehandlungselements ist.
- Frisuraufsatz nach den Ansprüchen 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Haarbehandlungselement (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) entlang einer Richtung verschiebbar ist, die im Wesentlichen quer zur Längsachse des länglichen Hauptkörpers des Haarbehandlungselements liegt, um einen Spalt zur Aufnahme von Haar zu bilden.
- Frisuraufsatz nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Paar Haarbehandlungselemente (21 ; 22; 24, 25) relativ gegen Federdruck bewegbar ist.
- Frisuraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rolle (33; 341; 342; 351; 352) drehbar mit dem länglichen Hauptkörper des Haarbehandlungselements verbunden ist, und die Achse der Rolle ist parallel und versetzt zur Längsachse des länglichen Körpers des Haarbehandlungselements.
- Frisuraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der längliche Hauptkörper (51 ; 52; 53; 54; 55) einen kreisförmigen Querschnitt aufweist, und die Längsachse der Rolle ist parallel und versetzt zur Längsachse des länglichen Körpers des Haarbehandlungselements.
- Frisuraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die wärmeleitfähigen Haarbehandlungsoberflächen eines einander benachbarten Paars von Haarbehandlungselementen (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) einander direkt zugewandt sind.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei der längliche Hauptkörper einen runden oder kuppelförmigen Kopf (61; 62; 63; 64; 65) umfasst, und die Köpfe eines einander benachbarten Paars von Haarbehandlungselementen (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) bilden zusammenwirkend eine Haargreiföffnung.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Hauptgehäuse (10) ein vorgeschaltetes Ende und ein nachgeschaltetes Ende umfasst; die Haarbehandlungselemente umfassen ein erstes und ein zweites Ende, wobei das erste Ende ein freies Ende ist, das über das nachgeschaltete Ende herausragt; und das erste Ende des Haarbehandlungselements (21 ; 22; 23; 24; 25) ist relativ zum Hauptgehäuse auslenkbar und/oder verschiebbar, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass korrespondierende Haarbehandlungsoberflächen in Bezug zueinander konvex angeordnet sind.
- Frisieraufsatz nach Anspruch 9, wobei das Haarbehandlungselement (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) einem Finger mit einem allgemein zylindrischen Körper ähnelt.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Haarbehandlungselement (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) einen allgemein langgezogenen und wärmeisolierten Hauptkörper umfasst, an dem eine drehbare Metalloberfläche montiert ist, die die Haarbehandlungsoberfläche (211; 221a; 221b; 231a; 231b; 241a; 241b) bildet.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche und eine Vielzahl von Haarbehandlungselementen (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) umfassend, wobei erste und zweite Haarbehandlungsoberflächen auf einigen der Vielzahl von Haarbehandlungselementen gebildet sind, und die Haarbehandlungsoberflächen auf demselben Haarbehandlungselement sind diametral angeordnet.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche und eine Vielzahl von Haarbehandlungselementen (21; 22; 23; 24; 25) umfassend, wobei die Vielzahl von Haarbehandlungselementen linear angeordnet sind.
- Frisieraufsatz nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Hauptgehäuse (10) ein Befestigungsmittel (17) zum Kuppeln der Einrichtung an ein Heißluftgebläse umfasst.
- Frisiervorrichtung, umfassend einen Frisieraufsatz (1) nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche und ein Heißluftgebläse.
