Abstract

La présente invention concerne un emballage du type caisse à rabats, ou à rabats et couvercle, en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, comportant un témoin d'inviolabilité. A cet effet, l'un des rabats (10, 11) ou le couvercle, comporte au moins une patte (14, 15) apte à être repliée perpendiculairement au rabat pour être engagée dans une fente (16, 17) ménagée dans un rabat interne contigu (12, 13). La fente présente une dimension longitudinale inférieure à la dimension correspondante de la patte afin de verrouiller celle-ci au dessous du rabat interne (12, 13). Une découpe (19, 20) ménagée dans la paroi attenante à ce rabat, en regard d'au moins une partie de cette patte, permet de distinguer celle-ci de l'extérieur et de vérifier ainsi, si elle a été rompue lors d'une tentative d'effraction de l'emballage. <IMAGE>

Description

La présente invention concerne un emballage du type caisse à rabats, ou à rabats et couvercle, en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, comportant un témoin d'inviolabilité.
On est de plus en plus confronté, actuellement, à des actes délictueux, visant des emballages acheminés par poste ou par messagerie, qui sont ouverts en cours d'acheminement, vidés de leur contenu, et refermés avec plus ou moins de soin, avant de parvenir vides à leurs destinataires.
Ceux-ci, s'ils ne prêtent pas attention au colis qu'ils reçoivent, ouvrent celui-ci, découvrent qu'il est vide et reprochent alors en toute bonne fois à l'expéditeur de ne pas leur avoir fourni la marchandise attendue.
L'invention vise à résoudre ce problème, dans le cas des emballages du type des caisses comportant des rabats externes et des rabats internes, articulés par des lignes de pliage sur des parois de l'emballage, ou encore des rabats internes attenants à deux parois opposées et un couvercle monté pivotant par rapport à une troisième paroi, et elle propose dans ce but d'équiper l'emballage d'un témoin d'inviolabilité, qui, à l'insu des individus qui ont ouvert frauduleusement l'emballage, met en évidence de l'extérieur de celui-ci le fait qu'il a été violé et permet ainsi à son destinataire de le refuser sans l'ouvrir, lorsqu'il lui parvient.
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un emballage en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, cet emballage comportant :
  • des parois latérales attenantes entre elles par des lignes de pliage parallèles ;
  • au moins une partie de fond attenante à au moins l'une de ces parois ;
  • deux volets dits rabats internes, articulés à la partie supérieure de deux parois opposées par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et aptes à être rabattus perpendiculairement à ces parois ;
  • deux volets dits rabats externes, articulés à la partie supérieure de deux autres parois par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires à celles des rabats internes, de manière à pouvoir être rabattus sur ceux-ci, ou encore un couvercle articulé sur une autre paroi par une ligne de pliage perpendiculaire à celles des volets internes, en vue de pouvoir être rabattu sur ceux-ci ;
  • un moyen de verrouillage en position rabattue des volets externes ou du couvercle ;
   cet emballage étant caractérisé en ce que l'un des rabats externes ou le couvercle comporte, suivant au moins l'un de ses bords latéraux, au moins une patte apte à être repliée perpendiculairement à ce rabat pour être engagée dans une fente ménagée en position correspondante dans le volet interne contigu, la fente ayant une dimension longitudinale inférieure à la dimension correspondante de la patte, de façon que celle-ci ne puisse y être introduite qu'après pliage ou gauchissement, pour reprendre ensuite sa forme initiale du fait de l'élasticité du matériau semi-rigide, en étant ainsi verrouillée au-dessous du rabat interne, une découpe étant ménagée dans la paroi attenante à ce rabat, en regard d'au moins une partie de cette patte, de manière à pouvoir distinguer celle-ci de l'extérieur et vérifier ainsi si elle a été rompue lors d'une tentative d'effraction de l'emballage.
Pour être plus facilement visible de l'extérieur, la partie de la face de la patte disposée en regard de la découpe pourra comporter un signe distinctif ou être colorée.
Avantageusement, deux pattes peuvent être prévues respectivement suivant les deux côtés latéraux d'un même rabat externe et deux fentes sont alors ménagées en position correspondante dans les deux rabats internes.
Pour pouvoir être plus aisément introduite dans la découpe associée, la patte pourra comporter une partie faisant saillie latéralement en regard de la découpe associée et articulée par un refoulage sur le reste de la patte. Cette patte peut être facilement séparée du rabat externe, lors d'une tentative d'effraction, et fait donc office de témoin d'inviolabilité.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaítront dans la description détaillée qui va suivre de l'une de ses formes de mise en oeuvre. Dans cette description, on se référera aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels :
  • La figure 1 est une vue du flan de carton ondulé prédécoupé et refoulé à partir duquel est mis en forme l'emballage illustré ;
  • La figure 2 est une vue en perspective de l'emballage monté, partiellement ouvert ;
  • La figure 3 est une vue en perspective de l'emballage monté et fermé, tel qu'il parvient normalement à son destinataire.
    • L'emballage du type caisse à rabats illustré par les dessins comprend deux parois longitudinales, 1 et 2, parallèles entre elles et deux parois transversales 3 et 4, perpendiculaires aux précédentes, sur lesquelles elles sont articulées par des lignes de pliage parallèles. Les quatre parois ont la même hauteur.
    Une bande 5 articulée sur la paroi 2 par une ligne de pliage parallèle aux précédentes est contre-collée contre la face interne de la paroi 3.
    A la base des parois 1-4, sont articulées par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et disposées dans un même plan des parties de fond, 6-9, ici un fond automatique d'un type bien connu, qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de décrire plus en détail. Le fond de l'emballage est étranger à l'invention et pourrait naturellement être de tout autre type.
    A la partie supérieure des parois 1 et 2 sont articulés par des lignes de pliage parallèles des volets, ici sensiblement rectangulaires, 10, 11, rabattus perpendiculairement aux parois associées pour former des rabats externes qui viennent à recouvrement, tandis qu'à la partie supérieure des parois 3 et 4 sont articulés par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et situées dans le même plan que celles-ci deux volets 12, 13, ici sensiblement rectangulaires, rabattus perpendiculairement aux parois associées au-dessous des rabats externes 10, 11, pour former des rabats internes.
    A partir de deux bords latéraux du rabat externe 10 font saillie latéralement deux pattes 14, 15, destinées à être engagées respectivement dans deux fentes 16, 17, ménagées en position correspondante dans les rabats internes 12, 13, en position contiguë à la ligne de pliage par laquelle ces rabats sont articulés sur les parois 3, 4, associées.
    Les fentes 16 et 17 ont une longueur inférieure à la dimension correspondante des pattes 14 et 15, de sorte qu'une fois l'emballage empli des articles conditionnés, les pattes ne peuvent être introduites dans les fentes associées qu'après gauchissement ou pliage dans ces fentes. Comme représenté sur les dessins, afin de faciliter leur introduction, les pattes 14 et 15 comportent de préférence une partie faisant saillie latéralement, respectivement 14a et 15a, articulée sur le reste de la patte par une ligne de pliage, de manière à pouvoir être escamotée lors de l'introduction de la patte dans la fente correspondante.
    Après introduction des pattes 14 et 15 dans les fentes 16, 17, associées, les parties en saillie 14a, 15a, reprennent leur position initiale du fait de l'élasticité inhérente au carton ondulé dont elles sont constituées. Il en est naturellement de même si la patte est introduite dans la fente par gauchissement.
    Les pattes 14, 15, sont ainsi verrouillées en position au-dessous des rabats internes 12, 13 avec les rabats externes 10-11 rabattus au-dessus de ces derniers, et l'on peut alors verrouiller l'emballage plein en position fermée, par exemple en appliquant sur les deux volets externes 10, 11, suivant leurs bords contigus, une simple bande adhésive 18.
    Des découpes 19 et 20 sont ménagées respectivement dans les parois 3 et 4, au-dessous des fentes 16 et 17, à une hauteur telle qu'elles se trouvent en regard des pattes 14 et 15 et, plus particulièrement, dans le cas représenté, en regard des parties 14a et 15a, lorsque les pattes sont engagées dans les fentes correspondantes, ces pattes ou ces parties de pattes étant ainsi visibles de l'extérieur.
    Si, au cours du convoyage de l'emballage plein, une tentative d'effraction se produit, par décollement de la bande 18 et soulèvement des rabats 10 et 11 pour accéder au contenu de l'emballage, le déplacement du rabat 10 a pour effet de rompre les pattes 14 et 15, qui tombent au fond de l'emballage et qui ne sont donc plus visibles de l'extérieur à travers les découpes 19 et 20.
    Les lignes de pliage reliant les pattes 14, 15 au rabat externe 10 peuvent être pourvues de prédécoupes afin de faciliter la rupture des pattes lors d'une tentative d'effraction. En variante, de telles prédécoupes peuvent être prévues sur la ligne de pliage entre les parties de pattes 14a, 15a et les pattes 14, 15, facilitant alors la rupture des parties de patte 14a, 15a lors d'une tentative d'effraction.
    Même si les individus ayant ouvert l'emballage remettent ensuite en place, avec plus ou moins de soin, le ruban adhésif 18, le destinataire du colis, en recevant celui-ci, peut, d'un simple coup d'oeil à travers les découpes 19 et 20, distinguer si les pattes ou parties de pattes sont apparentes ou non et savoir ainsi, sans avoir à ouvrir l'emballage, si celui-ci a connu ou non une effraction. Il est ainsi possible, en procédant à des vérifications à chaque phase du convoyage, de déterminer à quelle étape un emballage a pu éventuellement être violé.
    La face de la patte ou de la partie de patte visible de l'extérieur à travers les découpes 19 et 20 est de préférence colorée, pour constituer ainsi un témoin d'inviolabilité facile à distinguer.
    Il est clair que l'emballage peut ne comporter qu'un seul rabat externe 10, qui coiffe alors toute la partie supérieure de l'emballage et fait office de couvercle, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.

    Claims (4)

    1. Emballage en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, cet emballage comportant :
      des parois latérales (1-4) attenantes entre elles par des lignes de pliage parallèles ;
      au moins une partie de fond (6, 9) attenante à au moins l'une de ces parois ;
      deux volets dits rabats internes (12, 13), articulés à la partie supérieure de deux parois opposées par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et aptes à être rabattus perpendiculairement à ces parois ;
      deux volets dits rabats externes (10, 11), articulés à la partie supérieure de deux autres parois par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires à celles des rabats internes, de manière à pouvoir être rabattus sur ceux-ci, ou encore un couvercle articulé sur une autre paroi par une ligne de pliage perpendiculaire à celles des volets internes, en vue de pouvoir être rabattu sur ceux-ci ;
      un moyen (18) de verrouillage en position rabattue des volets externes (10, 11) ou du couvercle ;
         cet emballage étant caractérisé en ce que l'un des rabats externes (10, 11) ou le couvercle comporte, suivant au moins l'un de ses bords latéraux, au moins une patte (14, 15) apte à être repliée perpendiculairement à ce rabat pour être engagée dans une fente (16, 17) ménagée en position correspondante dans le volet interne contigu (12, 13), la fente (16, 17) ayant une dimension longitudinale inférieure à la dimension correspondante de la patte (14, 15), de façon que celle-ci ne puisse y être introduite qu'après pliage ou gauchissement, pour reprendre ensuite sa forme initiale du fait de l'élasticité du matériau semi-rigide, en étant ainsi verrouillée au-dessous du rabat interne (12, 13), une découpe (19, 20) étant ménagée dans la paroi attenante à ce rabat, en regard d'au moins une partie de cette patte, de manière à pouvoir distinguer celle-ci de l'extérieur et vérifier ainsi si elle a été rompue lors d'une tentative d'effraction de l'emballage.
    2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que deux pattes (14, 15) sont prévues respectivement suivant les deux côtés latéraux d'un même rabat externe (10) et deux fentes (19, 20) sont ménagées en position correspondante dans les deux rabats internes (12, 13).
    3. Emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la partie de la patte (14, 15) disposée en regard de la découpe (19, 20) comporte un signe distinctif ou est colorée.
    4. Emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'en vue de faciliter son introduction dans la fente (16, 17) associée, la patte (14, 15) comporte une partie (14a, 15a) faisant saillie latéralement en regard de la découpe (19, 20) correspondante de la paroi (3, 4) contiguë.
