Abstract

A carton for packaging four or more rows of articles for example bottles, which carton comprises a plurality of panels for forming a tubular structure including opposed first and second side wall panels (16,21), wherein the first and second side wall panels (16,21) each comprising a pair of apertures (81) to receive and retain a part of an article, characterised in that the first and second apertures of the first side wall (16) engage an outermost article from a first row (A1) and a second row (A2) and in that third and fourth apertures of the second side wall panel (21) engage an outermost article from a third row (A3) and fourth row (A4).
