The lubricant distribution device 6 is then used to break out the required amount of lubricant onto the wheel flanges 3 of the rail wheels 5.
- the lubrication process is continued until the evaluation device 10 again determines a correspondence between the coordinates x, y of the current position of the rail vehicle 1 with another coordinate pair x , A y stored in the permanent memory. That match is the signal that the end of the section of the route that is at risk of wear has been reached.
