Abstract

Die Verstärkung umfaßt eine Lage aus sich quer zur Bandlaufrichtung L erstreckenden Verstärkungsfäden 14 und eine Lage aus sich in Bandlaufrichtung L erstreckenden Verstärkungsfäden 16. Die jeweilige Dicke d der Verstärkungsfäden 14, 16 beider Lagen beträgt zumindest etwa 0,5 mm. Der Abstand a1 zwischen den sich in Querrichtung erstreckenden Verstärkungsfäden 14 besitzt einen Wert von höchstens etwa 3 mm. Der Abstand a2 zwischen den sich in Bandlaufrichtung L erstreckenden Verstärkungsfäden 16 beträgt höchstens etwa 2,5 mm. Die Verstärkungsfäden der einen Lage weisen von denen der anderen Lage in Banddickenrichtung einen Abstand voneinander auf, der in einem Bereich von etwa 0 bis etwa 4 mm liegt.
