Definitions
- the invention relates to a paving stone made of concrete, in particular to cover driving surfaces, according to the generic term of claim 1.
- DE-A-33 03 225 discloses a hexagonal paving stone, which has cams on adjacent side surfaces which in the Form the plant position an enlarged passage gap.
- the Paving is therefore not very stable and Both surface water and pollutants can pass through the gap penetrate the underbody.
- the invention has for its object a paving stone to create from concrete of the type mentioned, with high resilience in the installation position a reliably tight seal enables.
- the paving stone according to the invention is in the range of Sidewalls with horizontally circumferential grooves that laying several of the paving stones between the adjacent side wall areas are arranged so that in this widening of the laying gap in certain areas Sealing material can be inserted in the correct position and thus a complete sealing of the paving becomes possible.
- the groove forming a receiving chamber is at the same time from the top of the paving stones used as a driving surface lowered so far in the horizontal direction that, for example caused by overloading in the edge area of the stones Shifts or by penetrating into the gap area Objects caused damage to the upper area of the laying gap remain limited and the receiving chamber or the sealing material contained in each Traps are protected so that a reliably tight cover of the soil against accidental seepage, for example of oil or the like.
- the chamber-forming groove shapes can be of any design Have cross-section, in particular with a trapezoidal or rectangular formation of manufacturing costs of the paving stone, for example by a simple one Casting, can be kept low. Likewise, the vertical ones Height of the respective groove in the side wall, the Groove dimensions and the number of groove shapes per side wall largely variable, so that in addition to being customized changing requirements for the tightness of the paving paving elements of different designs are provided and in a visually appealing laying position the paving can be processed.
- this can be, for example, as an elastic or plastically formable plastic band is provided Sealing material in the cavity forming a cavity inserted when laying the paving will. Due to the elastic properties of the sealing material remains its sealing effect even under high loads the driving surface because of damage to the sealing material in the installation position even with a small vertical Displacement of stones or penetrating foreign substances are largely excluded.
- the hexagon paving stones described above are in one another embodiment with in particular the cast Stone body integrated sealing connection bodies provided that in the laying position of several of the stones in the area of the Side walls opposite projection areas form. These protruding areas protrude into the installation gap and can be connected at the end here in such a way that a fluid-tight security zone is created.
- the paving stone designed according to the invention is at a corresponding composite installation, an interlocking of the lying side surfaces achieved such that in particular for braking and acceleration loads from vehicles selective overloading at the top of the paving stones are avoided.
- Hexagon stones are disadvantageous shifts in the Laying level of the paving excluded with sufficient certainty and thus reliable sealing of the driving surface against uncontrolled infiltration in the covered Bottom reached.
- the profile teeth are opposite one another the length of the hexagon stone is shortened, so that areas of the paving stones are laid a laying channel between the adjacent Side surfaces are created so that a reliable and constant tight installation is possible and a good seal, e.g. with a grout.
- the paving stone is in the area provide undercuts in the support profile, so that over form-fitting interlocking side surfaces the paving stones have been laid together.
