Claims (12)
- Procédé de finissage d'une bande de papier, qui présente une humidité d'entrée élevée, et qui est soumise dans plusieurs interstices entre cylindres, à un traitement de compression, et en-dehors d'un interstice de cylindre, à un séchage, caractérisé en ce que le séchage est effectué à la fin du passage de la bande de papier dans les interstice entre cylindres, entre deux interstices entre cylindres, de manière telle, qu'au moins un traitement de compression dans un interstice succède au séchage, et en ce que le sechage est effectué jusqu'à proximité de la valeur finale souhaitée.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le traitement de compression qui succède s'effectue dans un seul interstice entre cylindres.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le séchage peut être modulé par zones, le long de la largeur de la bande.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que des propriétés de la bande dont le traitement est achevé, telles que l'humidité, la brillance et/ou le lissé, sont mesurées, le séchage s'effectuant en fonction de ces propriétés.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la vapeur produite durant le séchage, est évacuée par aspiration.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que le séchage s'effectue par rayonnement, convection ou conduction de la chaleur.
- Dispositif destiné à la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, comportant un empilement vertical de cylindres comprenant plusieurs interstices entre cylindres (8) formés entre les cylindres (6, 7), et un dispositif de séchage (4), caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de séchage (4) est disposé, dans le cas d'un parcours de déplacement de la bande de papier (1) conduisant du haut vers le bas, à l'extrémité inférieure de l'empilement, entre deux interstices entre cylindres (8a, 8b).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de séchage (4) comporte, répartis sur la largeur de la bande, des éléments de séchage individuels (16), dont la puissance de séchage peut être modulée indépendamment pour chaque élément de séchage.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7 ou 8, caractérisé par au moins un détecteur (11), qui est disposé derrière le dernier interstice, dans le sens du parcours de déplacement de la bande de papier (1), et qui est destiné à mesurer une propriété de la bande, telle que, par exemple, l'humidité, la brillance et/ou le lissé, et par un dispositif de commande (13) qui pilote la puissance de séchage en fonction des valeurs mesurées.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 7 à 9, caractérisé en ce qu'au dispositif de séchage (4) est associé un dispositif d'aspiration de vapeur (17).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 7 à 10, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de séchage (4), dans le sens du parcours de déplacement de la bande de papier (1), est prévu entre le second interstice entre cylindres le plus bas (8a) et l'interstice entre cylindres le plus bas (8b).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de séchage (4) est disposé à hauteur du second interstice entre cylindres le plus bas (8a), et la bande de papier (1), après renvoi sous le dispositif de séchage, est conduite à l'interstice entre cylindres le plus bas (8b).
