Abstract

A supporting bar for a shelf is described which, possibly with the exception of its anchoring means, consists completely of compressed cardboard, possibly with folded material. Compared to the previously used supporting bars for shelves made of plastic or wood, the supporting bar for a shelf can be disposed of, together with the other constituents of the shelf of folded material by the principle of mono-disposal, all the requirements placed on it in practice nevertheless being met by the V-shaped or L-shaped profile without weakening lines, in particular in respect of load-bearing capacity.

Description

The invention relates to a shelf with shelf walls and with at least one shelf bar connecting these walls, which has at its ends means for easily releasable connection of the shelf bar to the shelf walls made of folding material, the outer sides of which go smoothly at least in the area of the shelf bar and are not interrupted, whereby the shelf walls are multi-layered with an opening in the innermost position for inserting the relevant end of the shelf rod.

Such a shelf is described in EP-A-0 346 516. There the shelf poles are made of plastic or wood. Practice has shown, however, that the disposal of the rack rods is problematic.

Diese Stangen sind daher nicht hochbelastbar.US-A-1,895,725 describes a platform-like structure made of folded material with horizontal L-profile rods made of corrugated cardboard. The corrugated cardboard is weakened in the bending line because otherwise an L-profile cannot be produced. These poles are therefore not heavy-duty.

With regard to the prior art, reference is also made to the German utility model 87 12 389, which describes a shelf with shelves made of folded material. There was no use of shelf poles there, apparently because the relatively flexible pleated material was not intended to be exposed to the stresses that shelf poles usually have to absorb.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to propose a shelf with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and as this is described in the mentioned EP-A-0 346 516, which can be disposed of without problems, but it is still all in practice requirements, especially with regard to resilience, should be met.

To achieve this object, the invention is characterized in that the rack rod as a load-bearing component has a rod made of pressed cardboard with a V-profile or L-profile, which is integrally formed without lines of weakness.

In the simplest embodiment, the shelf bar is only made of this L or V profile, which is then made of pressed cardboard of the appropriate strength and strength. The profile is preferably used as an upside down V in the side walls of the shelf. But it can also take other positions on the shelf, for example as an upright V-profile or as an L-profile.

The anchoring means can consist of plastic sleeves with downward-facing lugs which are pushed onto the ends of the profile, as described in FIG. 1 of the mentioned EP-A-0 346 516. However, the anchoring sleeves can also consist of the paper material, which of course makes disposal easier again. But even if they are injection molded from plastic material, the anchoring sleeves can easily be removed from the profiles and disposed of separately.

Another preferred category of anchoring means consists of incisions in the ends of the profile, so that the shelf bar is anchored to the side walls by pushing their incisions onto the innermost layer of the folding material of the side walls.

Fig. 1 -
eine Draufsicht auf eine Ausführungsform einer erfindungsgemäßen Regalstange;
Fig. 2 -
eine Stirnansicht von Fig. 1.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. It shows:
Fig. 1 -
a plan view of an embodiment of a rack rod according to the invention;
Fig. 2 -
2 shows an end view of FIG. 1.

In Fig. 1 and 2, a V-profile made of pressed cardboard of appropriate thickness with flanges 3, 4 is shown, which are bent in a V-shape to each other over an edge 5.

At the ends of the V-profile, notches 11 are provided in the flanges 3, 4, via which the V-profile can be anchored in multilayer side walls of a shelf made of folded material, as is shown in FIG. 1 of the mentioned EP-A-0 346 516 shows.

Sleeves made of plastic material, pressed cardboard or folded material, as described in the mentioned EP-A-0 346 516, can be pushed onto the ends of the shelf rod provided with or without the incisions 11.

If a V-profile was mentioned above, this can take any position, for example standing upside down or also being arranged as an L-profile, in which case one of the legs runs horizontally and the other runs vertically. Both legs do not have to be the same length. In this respect, it is essential to have two legs arranged at an angle to one another.
