Description
Oxydkathode (Oxydkathodendraht) und Verfahren zur Herstellung Die Erfindung betrifft eine besondere Ausführungsart einer Oxydkathode und eines Verfahrens zu ihrer Herstellung nach dem Hauptpatent 6oo 374 und besteht in der Verwendung von dampfförmigem Gemisch verschiedener Acetylacetonate zwecks Bildung eines Niederschlages von Oxydgemischen auf einem leitenden Träger (Heizdraht). Man hat zwar schon aus dem Dampfe von Acetylacetonaten auf Drähten Metalle niedergeschlagen, um dem Draht eine hohe Elektronenemission zu erteilen, im Gegensatz - zur Erfm.dung, bei der Oxyde den emittierenden Überzug bilden. Insbesondere sollen hochemittierende Oxyde, wie Bariumoxyd, einerseits und temperaturbeständige saure Oxyde, wie Aluminiumoxyd, Zirkonoxyd, Zinkoxyd u. dgl., andererseits gleichzeitig auf den leitenden Träger abgeschieden werden, und zwar von jeder Gruppe entweder eines oder mehrere. Das Verhältnis der Komponenten wird zweckmäßig annähernd so gewählt, daß eine chemische Verbindung der beiden Oxydgruppen resultiert (z. B. Bariumaluminat ) und nur kleine Mengen .der einen oder anderen Gruppe neben der chemischen Verbindung vorhanden sind. Das dampfförmige Gemisch der Acetylacetonate kann durch Verdampfen einer flüssigen oder festen Mischung dieser Stoffe erzeugt werden.
