Description
Electrical coil wound capacitor. The invention relates to electrical capacitors wound in roll form with on both sides an insulating layer located metal deposits, which in the winding direction are divided into isolated sections so that the space between two consecutive occupancy sections on the same side of the center of an occupancy section facing the other side, and where only the first and last of those mentioned Sections are connected with taps, so that between these a number of series-connected partial capacities.
In the previously known capacitors of this type, the end faces substantially perpendicular to the axis of the capacitor roller, so that the creepage distances for the electrical charges along the surfaces mentioned are so short that the Capacitors cannot be used for voltages as high as they would otherwise with Consideration of the thickness of the insulation layer would be permissible.
This disadvantage is made clear by the subject matter of the present invention eliminated. This essentially consists in extending the creepage distance for the electrical charges, the end faces of the capacitor roller are essentially represent the lateral surfaces of two cones, the tips of which point in opposite directions are.
.Of the two possible embodiments of the invention is particular which is advantageous in which the two end faces are designed in the shape of a triangle. Such a design of the end face is particularly suitable for capacitor rollers, which are housed in metallic, tightly enclosing containers should. As a result, the distance between the innermost occupancy section is namely from Bottom or cover of the usually with the outermost occupation sections electrical connected container enlarged. .
Appropriate embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are in the Drawings shown.
Fig. Z shows a wound capacitor according to the invention with essentially conical end faces, which six are connected in series Partial capacitors includes.

Abb. 3 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie 3-3 der Abb. x.Fig. 3 is a section along the line 3-3 of Fig. X.
Abb. q. zeigt schematisch die Lagen der Kondensatorbelegungen im Verhältnis zueinander in einem Kondensator nach Abb. z bis 3.Fig.q. shows schematically the positions of the capacitor assignments in relation to each other in a capacitor according to Fig. z to 3.
Fig. 5 and 6 show the capacitor plate along with the intermediate one Insulation layers developed in the plane.
Fig. 7 shows a wound capacitor with a substantially funnel-shaped End face immersed in an oil vessel.
The schematic figures 5 and 6 show how a capacitor is the one shown in Fig outer shape appropriately constructed is. If the one consisting of insulating layers and metal coating, the capacitor forming multi-layer strips is unwound on a flat surface, the outer Layers of the strip are lifted off and placed next to the lower layers, this gives the layers the appearance shown in the above figures. In these figures, 1 "denotes 2, 3, 4, 5 and @ 6 strips of flexible insulating material Material, for example paper, which are arranged one behind the other that the Edges of adjacent strips perpendicular to the winding direction partially overlap one another, so that a continuous insulating layer is formed. Everyone is here subsequent stripes narrower than the previous one. With 7, 8, 9, io, ii and 12 are metal strips of also gradually decreasing width, which in pairs partially overlap each other, so that three different from each other electrically isolated pads 7-8, 9-io and 11-i2 are formed. Numbers 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 also denote metal strips which have the same width as that Strips 7 to 12; however, the first-mentioned strips are arranged against each other in such a way that that four pads 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 that are electrically isolated from one another are given will. As can be seen from Fig. 5 and 6 in comparison to Fig. ¢, the metal strips form 7 and 13 with the intermediate insulating strip a partial capacitance that Metal strips 8 and 14 with the insulating strip in between, a different one Partial capacity; both partial capacities are due to the overlapping of the metal strips 7 and 8 connected in series with one another. In the same way is the latter Partial capacity in series with the partial capacity formed from the metal strips 15 and 9 switched, etc., so that between the covering layers 13 and 18, which match with Taps are provided, six partial capacities connected in series are obtained will. The individual metal strips 7 to 18 expediently have surfaces of the same size, so that the various partial capacities are the same and the electrical stresses of the insulation material will be the same everywhere. The top layers 13 and 18 are provided with suitable taps ig, 2o, which, for example, on opposite sides Ends of the capacitor roller can be arranged.
Instead of making the multi-layer strip so that this one first a layer of paper, then a layer with coating, then another layer of paper and comprises a layer of covering, as can be seen from Fig. 5, 6, this can also, As Fig. 3 shows, first a layer of paper, then a layer with a covering, then two layers of paper, another layer of topping and finally another layer of paper include.
Der Anschluß.des Kondensators an das Netz erfolgt mittels einer in die Kappe 51 eingeschraubten Klemmschraube 53 sowie einer in den Deckel 30 eingeschraubten Klemmschraube 54.IAA Fig.7 shows a wound capacitor according to the invention with essentially funnel-shaped end faces, which is immersed in a container filled with oil. 25 denotes the capacitor with its two taps 26, 27. The capacitor is wound onto a tube 28_ made of insulating material. 29 with a removable lid 3o provided with oil container and 31 with a support made of insulating material for the capacitor. One tap 26 of the capacitor is connected to the metal cover 30 by means of a screw 32, while the other tap is connected to the hollow lead-through bolt 35 of a bushing arranged in the cover by means of nuts 33, 34. Outside the bolt 35, this bushing comprises a hollow bushing insulator 37 provided with bell-shaped flanges 36, which is fastened to the cover 3o in a liquid-tight manner by means of a lead rubber packing 38 and a sealing ring 39 with the aid of screws 40. On the outer end of the hollow bushing bolt is one with a flange 45 and an externally threaded sleeve 46 screwed on. The flange 45 is pressed against a flange 44 of the insulator in a liquid-tight manner by a nut 47 and a sealing ring 48 arranged between the nut and the insulator. A sealing ring 5o is expediently inserted between the flanges 45 and 44. The upper opening of the hollow insulator bolt is closed by means of a cap 51 provided with an inner thread, which can be replaced under certain circumstances by the supply line from an expansion vessel for the oil. The lead-through bolt is provided with an insulating layer 52 made of rubber or the like; Furthermore, a suitable insulating material is filled between this layer and the walls of the insulator, which also serves to support the bolt laterally. The capacitor is connected to the network by means of a clamping screw 53 screwed into the cap 51 and a clamping screw 54 screwed into the cover 30.
