Die üblichen Drehscheiben besitzen außer der Unterstützung des Mittelpunktes noch
weitene Unterstützungen, welche konzentrisch
zum Mittelpunkt angeordnet sind. Diese letzteren Unterstützungen können verschiedenster
Art" sein, haben aber alle den Nachteil, den Bewegungswiderstand der Drehscheibe zu vergrößern.
Sie müssen möglichst groß bemessen sein, "wenn der Fahrwiderstand tunlichst
ίο klein werden soll, und erfordern infolgedessen eine häufig- nicht zur Verfügung stehende Bauhöhe
der ganzen Drehscheibe sowie außerdem leine sorgfältige Wartung und Reinhaltung.
Werden die konzentrisch angeordneten Unterstützungsorgane ganz fortgelassen, muß
die Plattform der Drehscheibe und ebenso der mittlere Drehzapfen unverhältnismäßig
stark bemessen bzw. fundiert werden, damit die auftretenden Biegungsmomente auf den
Baugrund übertragen werden. Außerdem haben die bekannten Drehscheiben den Nachteil,
daß die Feststellung derselben nur durch Konstruktionselemente erfolgt, welche klinkenartig,
also ruckweise und nur an bestimmten Stellen, wirken und außerdem durch Gestänge

mit einer Grundplatten starr verbunden ist. Die Grundplatte selbst ist mit dem Fundament
nicht starr verbunden, sondern in sich federnd und gegenüber dem Fundament leicht
kippbar angeordnet, so daß die Drehscheibe beim Auffahren der Last eine ganz schwach
geneigte Stellung 'eininimmt. Damit diese Neigung nicht zu groß werden kann, sind am
Rande / des Drehscheibenkörpers Unter-So stützungeng· angeordnet, welche aber weder
im Ruhezustand noch während der Drehbewegung der Scheibe auf irgendeiner Unterlage
aufruhen. Wenn das Fahrzeug ganz auf die Scheibe aufgefahren ist, werden die Unterstützungeng" wieder frei, und die Last
wird bei vollständig konzentrischer Lage des Fahrzeugschwerpunktes ausschließlich von
dem. KugellagerC aufgenommen. Bei nicht vollständig konzentrischer Schwerpunktlage
tritt die Grundplatte^ in Tätigkeit, welche das verhältnismäßig geringe Moment aufnimmt
und in Verbindung mit dem Gewicht des Fahrzeugs und der Scheibe als exzentrischer
