Feeding device designed as a cellular wheel for compressed air conveyors
for bulk goods. In the case of compressed air conveyors for bulk goods, it is well known that the conveyed goods are
from a collecting container into the conveying line with the mediation of a feed device
transferred, which on the one hand are permanently sealed off from the outside
must, on the other hand, ensure an even and well-distributed transfer of the goods
target. So-called cellular wheels have usually been used for this purpose
through stuffing boxes
or other suitable external facilities
are sealed. However, in many cases, almost all of the time, it is the conveyed goods
with it that the originally very careful poetry was very soon heavily attacked
and has leaks that reduce the efficiency of the system.
The object of the invention is intended to provide a remedy here
that happens because the actual feeding device,
namely the cellular wheel, is no longer directly surrounded by the outside air, but
is covered on both sides in such a way that between the cellular wheel and the outside air
a special space is created on both sides. which then under the same or where appropriate
a slightly higher air pressure is set than the conveying air has or
as it rules in the cellular wheel. This ensures that never by the conveying air pressure
Dust can penetrate through the sealing surfaces to the outside, so that this is essential
are easier to hold tight. With this new facility, however, can also
achieve yet another advantage. It happens with some types of conveyed goods
lightly, (let (read good clumps up in the cells and bad or even
does not fall out of the cell. This is very easy to do with the new facility
thereby prevent a connection of the cells with at a certain point
creates the aforementioned airspace. Then at the appropriate moment, i. H.
always (thought when the respective cell below empties into the delivery line
is supposed to let a stream of air into the "cell", which carries the conveyed material out of the cell
drives out and well-divided into the delivery pipe.
The object of the invention is illustrated in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment, namely show: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section and Fig. 2 is a side view.
Förderrohr in Verbindung.
The cellular wheel housing a is at the top with the Sainnielhehälters, the foot h of which is briefly indicated, and at the bottom with your conveying pipe, not shown in the drawing, in connection. In the cell housing a, the cell wheel c rotates. that is stuck on shaft d. The application) takes place in 1>. B. by a belt pulley, the ciurch tooth transmission f, g drives a countershaft li and from this through the gear i, which is seated on the other end of the shaft d, the shaft d. The bucket wheel c is against the wheel housing a in any way, for. B. by a sleeve k or by stuffing boxes and the like. Sealed on both sides. In order to prevent dust and material to be conveyed from penetrating to the outside at this sealing point, a cover 1 and m is placed on both sides of the bucket wheel housing a; these are sealed against the shaft d by stuffing boxes n. This creates a special space o on both sides of the cell wheel, which is pressurized accordingly at any point, either through connection with the compressed air line of the compressed air conveyor or with a special compressed air line. The fact that in this space or air pressure is either the same or even higher than that in the cellular wheel ensures that dust can never enter the sealing surfaces k of the cellular wheel, so that these remain permanently in order and tight.
In order to further achieve that the conveyed material from each of the below
standing cells is easily and safely pushed out, is at the bottom of each one
Cell of the bucket wheel c arranged a channel p through a sealing washer
q o. The like. Is covered and only the entry of compressed air from the chamber o into the
in each case the lowest cell is allowed and thereby emptied it quickly and safely.
