Wird also der Stab in das erste Kaliber eingeführt, so wird er linsenförmig zusammengedrückt. Der Stab wird hierauf um go° gedreht und in das zweite Kaliber eingeführt, so daß der hochkant gestellte linsenförmige Querschnitt ,des Stabes in die Form eines Bogenvierecks zusammengedrückt wird.
