Diese Betätigungshandhabe hat einen gleichen Grundkörper wie die Betätigungshandhabe auf der Innenseite der Duschkabine, daß heißt sowohl die Grundfläche 8 als auch die Einbuchtung 4 ist identisch vorhanden. Jedoch ist im Gegensatz zu dem Grundkörper der innenliegenden Handhabe der Grundkörper 2 der außenliegenden Handhabe mit einem Einschnitt versehen, der im Bereich der Mittelachse 11 verläuft. Innerhalb dieses Eischnittes ist eine Handhabe 3 als flaches Bauteil eingesetzt. Die Verbindung zwischen der Handhabe 3 und dem Grundkörper 2 kann je nach verwendeten Material entweder durch Löten, Schweißen oder Kleben sichergestellt werden. Es ist natürlich auch möglich, durch eine von außen einzusetzende Verschraubung einen zusätzlichen Halt zwischen der Handhabe 3 und dem Grundkörper 2 sicherzustellen.
