Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Härten von Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymerisaten in Gegenwart eines
Härtungsmittels zwecks Bildung elastomerer Stoffe von verbesserter Festigkeit, Dehnung, Maßhaltigkeit, Beständigkeit
gegenüber Lösungsmitteln usw.
iithylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymere können auf übliche
Weise durch Block-, Emulsions-, Lösungs- oder Suspensionspolymerisations verfahren erzeugt werden. Die Initiierung
kann durch thermische Dissoziierung einer geeigneten Peroxyverbindung, durch ein Redoxsystem oder mit ionischen und
Ziegler-Katalysatoren erfolgen. Verfahren zur Erzeugung des Copolymeren sind beispielsweise in den USA-Patentschriften
Nr. 2 422 392, Nr. 2 497 291, Nr. 3 035 032 und Nr* 3 051 beschrieben.

Ein Verfahren zum Härten dieser Copolymeren ist in der USA-Patentschrift Nr. 2 497 291 beschrieben. Nach
diesem Verfahren können Härtebeschleuniger zu Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren
zugesetzt werden. In der USA-Patentschrift Nr. 2 628 214 wird ferner vorgeschlagen,
Copolymere des Äthylens und Vinylchlorids mit Härtebeschleunigern zu vernetzen, die freie Radikale abgeben,
beispielsweise mit Peroxyden.
Die Erfindung bezweckt die Schaffung eines neuen, verbesserten Verfahrens zum Vernetzen von Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren.
Ein weiterer Zweck der Erfindung besteht in der Schaffung eines Verfahrens zum Härten von Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren
unter Bildung eines Produkts, das bessere Eigenschaften hat als das durch Peroxydhärtung erhaltene
Produkt.
Ferner besteht ein Zweck der Erfindung in der Schaffung einer Stoffzusammensetzung bestehend aus Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren,
die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren mit Schwefel vulkanisiert wurden.
Außerdem besteht ein Zweck der Erfindung in der Schaffung eines industriell anwendbaren Verfahrens zum
Vulkanisieren von Äthylen-Vinylchorid-Copolymeren.
Ein Zweck der Erfindung besteht ferner darin, zum Härten von Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren ein Verfahren
zu schaffen, das unabhängig von der Verwendung von Füllstoffen und/oder Weichmachern zur Modifikation des Harzes
anwendbar ist.
Weiter besteht ein Zweck der Erfindung in der Schaffung eines Verfahrens zum Vernetzen von Xthylen-Vinylchorid-Copolymeren
unter Bildung von Elastomeren von hoher Zugfestigkeit und Dehnung.

Ferner bezweckt die Erfindung, zur Erzeugung von
Jithylen-Vinylchlorid-Vulkanisationsprodukten ein Verfahren
zu schaffen, in dem das Üthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymere
während des Vernetzungsvorganges nicht abgebaut oder zersetzt wird.
Ein weiterer Zweck der Erfindung besteht in der Schaffung eines Verfahrens zum Härten von Copolymeren
von üthylen und Vinylchlorid unter Bildung eines gehärteten
Produkts, das in einem weiten Temperaturbereich brauchbare physikalische Eigenschaften besitzt.
Die vorstehend angegebenen und andere Zwecke, die für den Fachmann aus der nachstehenden, ausführlichen Beschreibung
des Erfindungsgegenstandes hervorgehen, werden durch ein Verfahren erzielt, in dem ein schwefelhaltiges
Härtesystem zur Erzeugung von vernetzten Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren
angewendet wird.
Gemäß der Erfindung wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Formteilen durch Vernetzen von Massen, die Äthylen/
Vinylchlorid-Copolymere mit 5 bis 95 Molprozent Vinylchlorid, sowie ein Härtungsraittel, Stabilisatoren, gegebenenfalls
Füllstoffe und/oder Weichmacher enthalten, bei einer Temperatur von 66 bis 232° C, vorgeschlagen, das dadurch
gekennzeichnet ist, daß man Massen aushärtet, die als Härtungsmittel 0,5 bis 5 Teile Schwefel, sowie 1 bis 10 Teile
Stabilisator je 100 Teile Copolymeres und gegebenenfalls 0,5 bis 5 Teile Beschleuniger je 100 Teile Copolymeres
und/oder einen Aktivator enthalten.
Angesichts der Tatsache, daß schwefelhaltige Härtesysteme zur Vernetzung von scheinbar ähnlichen Polymeren,
beispielsweise Polyäthylen, Polyvinychlorid, Äthylen-Vinyl-

acetat-Copolymeren usw. ungeeignet sind, war die Schaffung
des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens sehr überraschend.
Die Eigenschaften der im Rahmen der Erfindung verwendbaren Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren gehen von denen
eines modifizierten Polyäthylens bis zu denen eines modifizierten Polyvinylchlorids. Die Copolymeren können etwa
5 Molprozent bis etwa 95 Vinylchlorid enthalten und umfassen halbkristalline Polymere, d.h. Polymere mit etwa 5-20
Molprozent Vinylchlorid, gummiartige Polymere, d.h. Polymere mit etwa 20-40 Molprozent Vinylchlorid, weiche Thermoplaste
mit etwa 40-60 Ilolprozent Vinychlorid und halbstarre bis starre Thermoplaste mit etwa 60-95 Molprozent Vinylchlorid.
Zur Erzeugung der Vulkanisationsprodukte werden die Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren in Form von gummiartigen
Polymeren und weichen thermoplastischen Polymeren mit etwa
20-65 Molprozent Vinylchlorid bevorzugt. Für bestimmte Anwendungen können jedoch auch Elastomere bevorzugt werden, die
einen höheren oder niedrigeren Gehalt an gebundenem Vinylchlorid enthalten.
Den vulkanisierbaren Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren
werden während des Mischens Stabilisatoren zugesetzt. Diese haben den Zweck, während der Verarbeitung einen Abbau
zu verhindern, zu verzögern oder zu einer unbedenklichen Form zu modifizieren und/oder eine befriedigende Gebrauchsdauer des Polymeren zu gewährleisten, indem im Gebrauch ein
durch die Wirkung der Oxydation, von Wärme öder Licht verursachter
Abbau verhindert oder verzögert wird.
In den erfindungsgemäßen Stoffzusammensetzungen können
zahlreiche Klassen von Verbindungen als Stabilisatoren

verwendet werden. Zu diesen gehören substituierte Phenole und Bis-Phenole, Amine, Mercaptide und Sulfide, Phosphite,
Epoxy-Verbindungen, Phosphate, Polyole und anorganische
und organometallische Verbindungen. Da die Reaktionen, die einen Abbau des Polymeren bewirken, durch verschiedene
Paktoren verursacht werden können, ist es oft zweckmäßig,
einen aus mehreren Komponenten bestehenden. Stabilisator zu verwenden.
Beispiele von geeigneten Stabilisatoren sind: Diphenylamin, Reaktionsprodukte des Acetons mit Anilin oder
substituierten Änilinen, Reaktionsprodukte des Diphenylamins mit Aceton, Derivate des p-Phenylendiamins, mit Isobutylen
oder Styrol substituierte Phenole, alkylierte Diphenole, Reaktionsprodukte des Schwefelchlorids und der alkylierten
Phenole, alkylierte Arylphosphite, epoxydierte natürliche
öle, epoxydierte Ester von ungesättigten Säuren, Epoxydharze, Pentaerythrit, Glycerin, organometallische Verbindungen
auf der Basis von Natrium, Calcium, Barium, Strontium, Cadmium, Zink, Antimon, Zinn, Blei, Magnesium, Aluminium
und Titan, anorganische Bleisalze, beispielsweise Carbonate und Silikate, usw..
Die Gesamtmenge der in das Copolymere eingeführten
Stabilisatoren ist im allgemeinen nicht größer als etwa 10 Teile pro 100 Teile des Copolymeren und beträgt gewöhnlich
etwa 1-5 %.
Vulkanisierbare Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Zusammensetztmgen
enthalten gewöhnlich Füllstoffe wie Streckmittel, Verstärkungsmittel, Pigmente usw., die zum Strecken oder
Modifizieren des Grund-Copolymeren dienen.
Während des Mlschens wird dem Äthylen-Vlnylchlorid-Copolymer

schiedene Arten von Ruß als Füllstoff verwendet. Zu diesen Rußarten gehört superabriebfester (super abrasion)
Ofenruß, höchstabriebfester (intermediate super abrasion) halbverstärkender Ofenruß, sehr feiner Öfenruß, Ofenruß
mit hoher Dehnung, leitfähiger Ofenruß, vollverstärkender Ofenruß, hochabriebfester Ofenruß, gewöhnlicher Ofenruß,
Ofenruß mit hohem Modul, Kanalruß (channel black) für allgemeine Zwecke, leitender Kanalruß, leicht verarbeitbarer
Kanalruß, mittelschwer verarbeitbarer Kanalruß, schwer verarbeitbarer Kanalruß, feiner thermischer Ruß,
mittlerer thermischer Ruß, Lampenruß, Acetylenruß usw..
Andere übliche Füllstoffe, die verwendet werden können, sind Sägemehl, Muschelmehl, Sisalfasern, Papierschnitzel,
mazerierte Textilstoffe, Keratinprodukte, Lignin-Füllstoffe,
Sojabohnenmehl, Kunstfasern, Asbest, Glimmer, Quarz, Kalk, Kieselsäure, Ton, Kieselgur, Faserglas,
Calciumcarbonat, Calciumsilikat, Tonerde, Zinkoxyd, Bariumsulfat,
Titandioxyä, Talk, Kork, Karborundum,· Eisenoxyd,
Zinksulfid usw..
In der Regel wird die höchste Festigkeit im allgemeinen bei einem Zusatz von 50 Teilen Füllstoff zu 100 Teilen
Copolymeres erzielt. Dieser Wert stellt jedoch nur eine allgemeine Richtschnur das. In bestimmten Fällen setzt
man zweckmäßig etwa 25-100 % Füllstoff zu. In manchen Fällen ist ein Zusatz von nur etwa 1-10 % Füllstoff zweckmässig.
In anderen Fällen ist dagegen ein Zusatz von etwa 250-550 % Füllstoff wirtschaftlich vorteilhaft.
Zur Modifikation der Ivthylen-Vinychlorid-Copolymere
kann es ferner vorteilhaft sein, übliche Weichmacher zuzusetzen.. Zu diesen gehören beispielsweise Phosphorsäureester,

hochsiedende Erdölrückstände, Asphalt, Kienteer, Paraffinwachs,
aromatische, paraffinische oder naphthenische Mineralöle, Steinkohlenteeröle, Fettsäuren, Naphthaline, Kolophonium,
Wollfett, Camaubawachs, Ceresin, GIycerinester,
Cumaronharze, Styrolharze, Phenolformaldehydharze, Fumarsäureester, Polyphenyle, chlorierte Polyphenyle, chloriertes
Polyäthylen, aromatische Erdölfraktionen, Butylgummi usw..
Diese Weichmacher werden im allgemeinen den vulkanisierbaren Copolymeren nur in begrenztem Ausmaß zugesetzt,
d.h. in Mengen, die zur Erzielung der gewünschten Eigenschaften genügen. Im allgemeinen wird der Weichmacher in
einer Menge von etwa 10-30 Teilen pro 100 Teile des Copolymeren zugesetzt. Es kann jedoch auch bereits ein Zusatz
von 1-5 % genügen. In besonderen Fällen kann ein Zusatz von bis zu etwa 60 % Weichmacher erforderlich sein.
Der Schwefel wird im allgemeinen in elementarer Form
als handelsüblicher, gemahlener Schwefel verwendet. Zur Vulkanisierung können jedoch auch Schwefelverbindungen verwendet
werden, die bei der Vulkanisationstemperatur Schwefel abgeben. Zu diesen Verbindungen gehören vor allen das Bis-(diraethy
lthiocarbamoy 1) disulfid und seine Homologen, das entsprechende Tetrasulfid, Dipentamethylentetrasulfid,
4,4'-Dithioraorpholin, Alkylphenolsulfide, Schwefelchlorid,
Schwefelwasserstoff, Schwefelthiocyanat usw. Die Schwefelverbindungen
sollen in dem Copolymeren löslich oder in feinverteilter Form vorhanden sein, damit sie in dem Copolymeren
leicht und gleichmäßig dispergiert werden können.
Ein typischer Ansatz enthält etwa 0,5-5 oder mehr Teile Schwefel pro 100 Teile vernetzbares Copolymeres. Im
allgemeinen erhält man mit etwa 1-3 Teilen Schwefel eine befriedigende
Vernetzung. Wenn man als Schwefelträger eine

schwefelhaltige Verbindung verwendet, soll deren Schwefelgehalt in dem vorstehend angegebenen Bereich liegen.
Zur Erhöhung der Vulkanisationsgeschwindigkeit können dem vernetzbaren Äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymeren Beschleuniger
zugesetzt werden. Gute Beschleuniger führen im allgemeinen auch zu einer "glatteren" Kurve und zu Verbesserungen
der Zugfestigkeit, bleibenden Verformung, Hysterese und Alterung und ermöglichen es, die erzielbaren Eigenschaften
in einem größeren Bereich miteinander zu kombinieren. Die Beschleuniger können chemisch in vier Hauptgruppen eingeteilt
werden; Mercaptothiazole und ihre Derivate; Dithiocarbamente und Bis-(thiocarbamoyl)sulfide, d.h. die Thiuramsulfide;
Guanidine und Aldehyd-Amin-Reaktionsprodukte.
Eine fünfte, gemischte Gruppe umfaßt verschiedene Klassen von Substanzen, die im allgemeinen von geringerer Bedeutung
sind, beispielsweise die Xanthogenate, Thioharnstoffe und Mercaptothiazoline. Beispiele sind 2-Mercaptobenzothiazol,
2,2'-Dithiobenzothiazol, N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolsulfenaroid,
Zinkdiäthyldithiocarbamat, Tetramethylthiuramdisulfid, Tetramethylthiurammonosulfid, 1,3-Diphenylguanidin,
Butyraldehyd-Anilin-Kondensationsprodukt, Tellurdiäthyldithiocarbamat,
Selendiäthyldithiocarbamat, Zinkdimethyldithiocarbamat usw.. Die Dithiocarbamate und die Bis-(thiocarbamoyl)
sulfide wirken als Ultrabeschleuniger und werden für die Zwecke der Erfindung bevorzugt.
Der Beschleuniger oder die Kombination von Beschleunigern wird im allgemeinen in einer Menge verwendet, die
etwa doppelt so groß ist wie die in dem Härteansatz verwendete Schwefelmenge. Der Beschleuniger kann aber auch in
einer größeren oder kleineren Menge verwendet werden, Im allgemeinen enthält daher der Härteansatz etwa 0,5-5 Teile,
vorzugsweise etwa 1-3 Teile Beschleuniger pro 100 Teile Copolymere s.

Gegebenenfalls kann der Härteansatz auch Aktivatoren
enthalten r beispielsweise Stearinsäure, Anilin,
tierische Fettsäuren, Antimonsulfid, Caprylsäure, Kokosfettsäure, Diethanolamin, Oxystearinsäure, basisches
Bleicarbonate Bleisalicylat, Oleinsäure, p-Chinondioxim,
Rieinöleinsäure, Tetrachlorbenzochinon, Zinkpalmitat,
Zinkstearat, Bleicarbonat, Bleioxyd, Magnesiumoxyd usw..
Wenn diese Substanzen allein verwendet werden, wirken sie im allgemeinen nicht als Beschleuniger. Zusammen mit einem
Primärbeschleuniger erhöhen sich jedoch die Vulkanisationsgeschwindigkeit
über den Wert hinaus, der mit dem Primärbeschleuniger allein erzielt wird. Ein Aktivator
wird im allgemeinen verwendet, weil man eine hohe Härtegeschwindigkeit
durch eine Kombination eines Beschleunigers und eines Aktivators wirtschaftlicher erzielen kann als
durch Verwendung einer höheren Konzentration des Beschleunigers. Zu diesem Zweck genügt im allgemeinen die Verwendung
von 1-3 Teilen Aktivator pro 100 Teile Copolymeres. In manchen Fällen ist jedoch auch eine größere Menge des
Aktivators zweckmäßig»
Das vulkanisierbare Ä'thylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymer wird gehärtet, indem ihm Wärme zugeführt wird, bis der gewünschte
Vernetzungsgrad erzielt ist. Die Härtetemperatur ist von dem verwendeten Beschleuniger abhängig und liegt
im allgemeinen bei etwa 66-232° C, vorzugsweise zwischen etwa 121° und 177° C.
Die Härtezeit ist von der Härtetemperatur abhängig.
D.h.# daß bei Verwendung hoher Temperaturen die optimale
Härtezeit kürzer ist als bei einer Vulkanisation des Copolyrneren bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Vulkanisationszeit ist auch von der Größe der zu härtenden Probe, dem
Vorhandensein oder Nichtvorhandenseln eines Aktivators,
dem jeweils verwendeten Beschleuniger usw. abhängig. Die

Vulkanisationszeit beträgt im allgemeinen etwa 1/2 Minute
' bis 150 Minuten. Die optimale Härtezeit bei etwa 154° C beträgt gewöhnlich etwa 15-45 Minuten.
Die erfindungsgemäß erzeugten vernetzten Copolymeren
sind für viele Zwecke verwendbar, beispielsweise als überzüge für Textilstoffe und Papier, wasserfeste Kleb stoffe,
zur Herstellung von Preßteilen, als Zwischenschichten für Sicherheitsglas, Schutzüberzüge für Bottiche, Behälter,
Konservendosen usw., ferner als Drahtisolierung, elastomere Stoffe usw..
Der Erfindungsgegenstand kann in seinen Einzelheiten auf verschiedene Weise abgeändert werden, ohne daß der Rahmen
der Erfindung verlassen oder auf ihre Vorteile verzichtet wird. Beispielsweise kann man Sthylen-Vinylchlorid-Polymere,
die eine dritte Polymerkomponente enthalten, im wesentlichen unter denselben Bedingungen härten, wie sie vorstehend
beschrieben wurden. Die dritte Komponente soll jedoch nicht in einer Menge von mehr als 15 Gewichtsprozent
der vereinigten Monomeren vorhanden sein.
In den nachstehenden Beispielen wird für das äthylen-Vinylchlorid-Copolymer
die Abkürzung &-VC1 verwendet. Durch die Angabe (Wz) wird ein eingetragenes Warenzeichen oder ein
Markenname bezeichnet.
Zum Härten von Ä'-VCl-Latex wurde ein ähnliches Härtesystem
wie bei der Erzeugung von Butylgummi (Tabelle 1) verwendet.
Filme aus dem Härteansatz werden auf Glas gegossen und vor dem Härten über Nacht trocknen gelassen. Der erzielte
Härtegrad wird durch die Unlöslichkeit des gehärteten Films

In der Regel werden hohe Härtegeschwindigkeiten erzielt.
Es wurden verschiedene Rußarten und rußfreie Füllstoffe bei einem Zusatz von 50 Teilen pro 100 Teile festes Ä-VC1 untersucht.
Dabei sollte festgestellt werden, mit welchen Füllstoffen die besten physikalischen Eigenschaften erhalten werden
(Tabelle III). Das Material enthält 58 Itolprozent VCl und
ist mit Dioctylphthalat weichgemacht, damit bei minimaler Zersetzung
gute Eigenschaften bei niedrigen Temperaturen erhalten werden. Im übrigen wurde der Härteansatz nach Tabelle I angewendet.

Die Ofenruße ergeben den höchsten Verstärkungsgrad und
relativ glatte Kurven. Die beste verstärkung wird mit Philblack
E und die beste Dehnung mit Regal 300 erzielt. Spheron 9 ist anscheinend der beste Kanalruß.
Calcene TM ist der beste der rußfreien Füllstoffe, die
untersucht wurden. Man erhält jedoch mit allen rußfreien Füllstoffen brauchbare Kennwerte mit guter Dehnung.
Philblack.E, Regal 300 und Calcene TM wurden für weitere
üntersucxiungen des optimalen Füllstoffgehalts des K-VCl-Ansatzes
herangezogen. Die iirgebnisse sind in der Tabelle IV
angegeben.

Die Ergebnisse besagen, daß eine beträchtliche Verstärkung
und eine gute Dehnung bei einem white sidewall-Ansatz
mit 30 Teilen ZnO und 20 Teilen TiO2 erhalten wird. Mit
einem Gemisch von 25 Teilen Philblack E und 25 Teilen CaI-cene TM erhält man weniger gute Kennwerte für die Zugfestigkeit
und die Dehnung als bei Verwendung von 50 Teilen CaI-cene TM.
Durch eine kleine Erhöhung des Schwefelgehalts des Ansatzes wird die Härtegeschwindigkeit stark erhöht, so daß
eine Überhärtung eintritt.
Versuche zur Erzielung einer Verstärkung durch Zugabe von Elastopar zu dem Ansatz zeigen, daß die für das Wirksamwerden
von Eiastopar notwendige Wärmebehandlung für Ji-VCl-Material
unzulässig ist.
Unter Verwendung von Philblack 0 als Füllstoff wurde
in einer Versuchsreihe die Form vorerhitzt, ehe der Druck auf den vollen Wert erhöht wurde. Das Aussehen des Prüflings
und die physikalischen Eigenschaften bei einer Vorerhitzung von 90, 30 und 15 Sekunden in der Presse bei niedrigem Druck
wurden festgehalten» Es sind Anzeichen dafür vorhanden, daß bei einer Vorerhitzung von 90 Sekunden die Aushärtung begonnen
hat und die Fließfähigkeit herabgesetzt worden ist. Die besten Ergebnisse v/erden mit einer Vorerhitzung von 60 und
30 Sekunden erzielt. Eine Vorerhitzung von 15 Sekunden genügt nicht, um die Temperatur auf den Wert zu bringen, bei
der die besten Fließeigenschaften, erzielt werden.

Frage kommenden Stabilisatoren wurden Copolymere mit
51-57 Molprozent VCl (Tabelle VI) bzw. mit 35 Molprozent VCl (Tabelle VII) herangezogen. Das Härten erfolgt während
eines Zeitraums von 30 Minuten in einem Ofen bei 150° C, wobei Proben von etwa 1/4 g zwischen gewalzten
Stahlplatten gepreßt werden.

Die Cl ash-Be rg--.Kennwerte betreffen die Torsionssteifheit
des Polymeren in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur*. Ϊ- ist die Temperatur, bei der das Polymer beginnt, etwas
biegsam zu werden. 1P2OOO ist ^-e Temperatur, bei der das
Katerial sehr gurcraiartig wird und nicht mehr tragfähig
ist. Der Stifflex-Bereich (SB, Tf~T 2ooo^ ist der ^1®1·^'
in dem das Polymere eine angemessene Zähigkeit, d.h. eine hohe Schlagfestigkeit besitzt, aber doch so starr ist,
daß es eine gewisse Last tragen kann.
Die hinsichtlich der Verhinderung des Verkohlens und des Metallangriffs besten Stabilisatoren sind annähernd
in der Reihenfolge ihrer Wirksamkeit Thioharnstoff,· Pentaerythrit,
Glycerin, Resimene U-920, Epoxol 9-5, Diiaethy Ic-I-harnstoff,
Harnstoff usw.. Ein Zusatz des wirksamen Stabilisators in einer Menge von 1 Teil ist anseheinend'ausreichend.
Kombinationen von Stabilisatoren wurden hinsichtlich
der Verhinderung einer Zersetzung des Polymers und einer Korrosion der Formen untersucht. Aus den in der Tabelle
VIII gezeigten Ergebnissen geht hervor, daß Thio~ harnstoff und Glycerin an wirksamsten sind. Auch Epoxol
9-5 erweist sich als nützlich.

Weitere Daten über das Härten von A-VCl unter Verwendung
von Stabilisatoren sind in der Tabelle X angegeben. In Glycerin gelöstes Pentaerythrit zeichnet sich durch
erhöhte Verträglichkeit aus und führt zu einer guten Stabilität. Bei Massen, die Ruß als Füllstoff enthalten/ führt
die Verwendung von Stabilisatoren su guten Ergebnissen im Preßspritzverfahren.

Claims (8)
1. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Fomateilen durch Vernetzen
von Massen, die Äthylen/Vinylchlorid-Copolymere mit 5 bis 95 Holprozent Vinylchlorid sowie ein Härtungsmittel,
Stabilisatoren, gegebenenfalls Füllstoffe und/oder Weichmacher enthalten, bei einer Temperatur von 66 bis
232O c, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Massen aushärtet, die als Härtungsmittel 0,5 bis 5 Teile Schwefel sowie
1 bis 10 Teile Stabilisator je 100 Teile Copolymeres und gegebenenfalls 0,5 bis 5 Teile Beschleuniger je
Teile Copolymeres und/oder einen Aktivator enthalten.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
man Äthylen/Vinylchlorid-Copolymere mit etwa 20 bis 60
Molprozent Vinylchlorid mit einem Härtungsmittel aushärtet, das Schwefel und einen Aktivator enthält.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß 50 bis 500 Teile Füllstoff zugesetzt werden.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
10 bis 60 Teile Weichmacher zugesetzt werden.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das schwefelhaltige Härtungsmittel etwa 1 bis 3 Teile
Aktivator enthält*
6* Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß etwa 1 bis 4 Teile Schwefel und etwa 1 bis 3 Teile Beschleuniger
verwendet werden.
