Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen zum Einsatz bei einer Brennkraftmaschine für den Marineeinsatz bestimmten Abgasturbolader (1), der mit verstellbaren Leitschaufeln (2) ausgestattet ist, um so bedarfsweise durch die Veränderung der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit einen schnellen Ladedruckaufbau zu ermöglichen. Der Abgasturbolader (1) hat weiterhin ein Turboladergehäuse (3), welches einen Hohlraum (4) einschließt, welcher im Betrieb von einem nicht gezeigten Kühlmedium, insbesondere Seewasser, durchströmt wird. Die Brennkraftmaschine ist speziell für den Einsatz bei Wasserfahrzeugen, insbesondere bei Sportbooten, bestimmt, woraus besondere Anforderungen an den Korrosionsschutz resultieren. Um einen zuverlässigen Schutz vor Korrosion zugleich mit einer hohen thermischen Beständigkeit zu erreichen, weist ein einem Abgasturbinenrad (5) zugewandter Bereich (6) einer Innenwandfläche (7) des Turboladergehäuses (3) einen korrosionsresistenten Werkstoff auf. Hierzu ist dieser Bereich (6) insbesondere aus Aluminium gefertigt.
