Abstract
Die Erfindung liegt auf dem Gebiet der Strömungsarbeitsmaschinen und betrifft eine Ventilatorummantelung (12), die eine mit Durchbrechungen (14) versehene metallische erste Wandung (13) und eine mit Schalldämpfungsmaterial versehene zweite Wandung (15) aufweist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin einen Ventilator (6) mit einer derartigen Ventilatorummantelung (12) sowie eine Windenergieanlage (1), bei der zum Kühlen eines Generators (4) ein derartiger Ventilator (6) vorgesehen ist. DOLLAR A Um die Funktionstüchtigkeit der Ventilatorummantelung zu verbessern, ist vorgesehen, dass die beiden Wandungen (13, 15) in der Umfangsrichtung (16) der Ventilatorummantelung (12) nur eine vorbestimmte Teilschale (17) der Ventilatorummantelung (12) bilden.
