参见附图，在壳体1的前下方设置安装进风口5，在壳体1的两侧设置安装出风口3；在壳体1内进风口5的上方固定安装蒸发器4；在壳体1内蒸发器4的上方固定安装贯流风轮2。空调开启后，贯流风轮2转动，带动室内空气从进风口5进入壳体1并通过蒸发器4被冷却，被冷却的空气在贯流风轮2的作用下从出风口3吹出壳体1，再次进入室内流动循环。室内空气不断从壁挂机前下方进入壳体1，被冷却后从壁挂机两侧吹出，凉风不会直吹到人体，而是在室内流动循环使室内空气慢慢凉下来，人体感觉既凉爽又舒适。
