Detailed Description
Various embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Here, it is to be noted that, in the drawings, the same reference numerals are given to constituent parts having substantially the same or similar structures and functions, and repeated description thereof will be omitted. The term "sequentially comprising A, B, C, etc" merely indicates the order of the included elements A, B, C, etc. and does not exclude the possibility of including other elements between a and B and/or between B and C.
The drawings in the present specification are schematic views to assist in explaining the concept of the present invention, and schematically show the shapes of respective portions and their mutual relationships.
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 11.
The monitoring system according to the invention is used for monitoring people conveying equipment. In the following description, the monitoring system is described by way of example with an escalator, but it will be clear to a person skilled in the art that the monitoring system of the invention can also be applied to other people conveyor installations, such as travelators or the like.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the monitoring system comprises a support 1 and a detection device, the support being arranged near and/or on the people conveyor, preferably between a railing 2 of the escalator and an outer edge 3 of the people conveyor. At least a part of the support is disposed above the people conveying unit (e.g., steps or pallets), and the detection device is disposed in the part of the support located above the steps to obtain detection information (e.g., image information, etc.) on the steps. The detection means includes a camera, the center line of which is preferably aligned with the center line of the steps S of the escalator (as indicated by "L" in fig. 6) so that the detection information can be more accurately obtained. The term "above" in this context should be understood to mean that the projection of the detection device onto the people conveyor is within the range of the people conveyor, i.e. not beyond the range of the people conveyor.
In one example, the support has an L-shaped configuration with a first portion arranged on the people conveyor and a second portion extending transversely to the first portion, the detection device being arranged in the second portion. In another example, the support member has an inverted U-shaped configuration with two first portions disposed on either side of the escalator and a second portion connecting the two first portions, the second portion being located above the steps, the detection device being disposed within the second portion. Although the present invention has been described in terms of L-shaped and inverted U-shaped supports, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the supports are not limited to L-shaped and inverted U-shaped supports as long as the objects of the present invention can be achieved. The support members are preferably a plurality of support members disposed along the running direction of the escalator, and may be disposed at, for example, a landing section and an inclined section of the escalator, as shown in fig. 10. In the case of a plurality of supports, the detection device of each support is advantageously arranged in a line parallel to the direction of travel of the escalator, so that the detection device can cover the entire travel area of the escalator. In the case of multiple supports, one portion of the supports may be disposed near the escalator (e.g., the ground) and another portion of the supports may be disposed on the escalator. Of course, all the supports can be provided only in the vicinity of or on the escalator.
The following description is made only for the L-shaped support, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that such description is also applicable to supports of other shapes.
As shown in fig. 4 to 7, each L-shaped support comprises a first portion 11 and a second portion 12 extending from the first portion, which enables the first portion 11 to be secured between the balustrade of the escalator and the outer edge of the escalator, the second portion 12 being located above the steps of the escalator. The first portion has a rectangular cross-section, advantageously with the short sides of the rectangle perpendicular to the guard rails of the escalator and the long sides of the rectangle parallel to the guard rails. The first part is installed to be laterally spaced apart from the balustrade 2 at the handrail by a predetermined distance (as shown in fig. 3). By means of the rectangular cross section, the distance between the first part and the guard rail of the handrail belt can be controlled more conveniently, the distance is made to meet the standard, and the passengers are prevented from clamping hands when using the handrail belt. Simultaneously, the surface of the first portion that deviates from the guardrail is flush with the outer edge 3 of the escalator, achieving a better appearance of the escalator.
The detection device 13 is mounted in the second part of the support such that the camera is located above the steps, preferably directly above the steps. The light source, the speech device and the artificial intelligence module are arranged on the support, advantageously the light source and the speech device are arranged on the second part and the artificial intelligence module is arranged on the first part. Therefore, the image or the video of the escalator is obtained through the detection device, the image or the video is analyzed through the artificial intelligence module, and the analysis result is output to the voice device so as to remind a user of the condition of the escalator.
When two escalators are arranged side by side, the first part of the L-shaped supports of their respective monitoring systems may be common and the two second parts extend above the steps of the respective escalators, respectively, so that the two L-shaped supports form a T-shaped configuration, as shown in fig. 8, in which case the two L-shaped supports may be integral or separable from each other.
Alternatively, when two escalators are positioned side by side, the second portions of the L-shaped supports of their respective monitoring systems contact each other such that the two L-shaped supports form an inverted U-shaped configuration, as shown in fig. 9, in which case the two L-shaped supports may be integral or separable from each other.
Fig. 11 exemplarily shows the situation of a travelator, on or near which a number of support members are arranged.
By providing the detection device in the portion of the support member located above the steps by the support member of the monitoring system provided on the escalator, the detection device can stably obtain an image of the people conveyor.
The above description is merely illustrative of the present invention, which is set forth to enable one of ordinary skill in the art to fully practice the present invention, and not to limit the present invention. The technical features disclosed above are not limited to the combinations with other features disclosed, and other combinations between the technical features can be performed by those skilled in the art according to the purpose of the invention, so as to achieve the purpose of the invention.
