Abstract
本发明提供一种气囊装置,可在对气囊中分开的气室充气时,单独设定其压力。当操作气体发生器(3)时,气体从喷气嘴(5)中喷出并分别通过气体分配器(4)的气体出口(4a)和(4b)流入第一气室(1a)和第二气室(1b);对气室(1a)和(1b)充气;并沿座椅(10)的靠窗侧部入口设置气囊(1)。第一气体出口(4a)的直径大于第二气体出口(4b),从而输送到第一气室(1a)的气体的数量和压力大于第二气室(1b)的气体数量和压力。因此,充气的第一气室(1a)的内部压力很高。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于保护机动车辆中的乘客等的气囊装置,更具体地说,涉及一种带有一气囊的气囊装置,该气囊的内部被分成多个气室。
背景技术
大家知道,气囊装置利用气体发生器对气囊进行充气,并利用充气的气囊承受乘客的身体。
公知的气囊设有一结构,该气囊的内部分成多个气室,这样可预先对气囊部分进行充气,乘客在靠近其它部分之前,要先靠近该气囊部分,来自于气体发生器的气体输送到气室部分,并预先对其进行充气,之后,使穿过该气室的气体流动到其它气室,并对其它气室进行充气。
本发明所解决的问题
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种气囊装置,其中,来自于气体发生器的气体直接输送到气囊中的每一个气室。
发明内容
在根据本发明所述的一种气囊装置中,气囊装置包括:一气囊,该气囊的内部分成多个气室;以及一用于对气囊进行充气的气体发生器,其特征在于把气体从一共用的气体发生器直接导向每一个气室。
在这种气囊装置中,来自于气体发生器的气体直接输送到每一气室,而不通过其它气室。因此,可单独设定被引导至每一气室的气体量和压力,从而通过把每一气室制成不连接的状态并根据其目标气体压力设定每一气室的气体入口的大小,使每一气室的压力都成为目标气体压力。
在本发明中,最好把设有多个气体出口的气体分配器安装在气体发生器的喷气嘴上,并通过该气体分配器的气体出口把气体输送到每一气室。采用上述气体分配器,便于设定对每一气室所分配的气体数量和提供的压力的目标值。还有,采用普通的气体发生器,例如市场上可购买到的产品,并且只是单独设计安装在气体发生器上的气体分配器,这样可降低成本。
在此情况下,根据每一气室的膨胀特性设定气体分配器的气体出口的开孔,可便于获得提供到每一气室的气体的数量和压力的目标值。

具体实施方式说明
下面参照附图说明本发明。图1是一车辆座椅的透视图,该座椅设有根据一实施例的用作气囊装置的侧部气囊装置;图2(a)是沿图1的II-II线剖开的剖视图,图2(b)是沿图2(a)的线B-B剖开的剖视图;图3是一气体发生器和一气体分配器的透视图;图4是该气体发生器和该气体分配器的剖视透视图。
如图1所示,设有一侧部气囊1,从而可沿座椅(sheet)10的靠窗一侧的入口部分进行充气。座椅10包括一座椅垫11、一座椅背12以及一头枕13。
座椅背12设有一安装在其侧部的侧部气囊装置罩体(未示出),其中,侧部气囊1折叠起来,从而设置在该罩体中,而且侧部气囊1还覆盖有一模型盖(未示出)。
侧部气囊1由薄片形的材料制成,例如呈口袋形的布片和树脂片,其内部由一隔板2分成下部第一气室1a和上部第二气室1b,该内部几乎是水平的。第一气室1a和第二气室1b彼此之间基本上不相通。
在此实施例中,侧部气囊1包括一设于其内部的气体发生器3。利用一夹持件(未示出)固定住该气体发生器3,该夹持件把上述罩体与侧部气囊固定在一起。换句话说,侧部气囊1的背面插在夹持件和罩体之间,而侧部气囊1的背面利用螺栓或铆钉坚固到罩体上,从而使侧部气囊1的背面与罩体固定在一起。
气体发生器3安装有一气体分配器4。在此实施例中,如图3和4所示,气体发生器3基本上呈圆柱形,其一端设有一喷气嘴5。形状基本上呈半球壳体状的气体分配器4紧固在气体发生器3上,从而绕住喷气嘴5。通过捻边或者焊接把气体分配器4稳固地固定到气体发生器3上。
气体分配器4包括两个气体出口4a和4b。第一气体出口4a的设置方向与伸向一端的圆柱形气体发生器3的中心轴的方向基本相同。第二气体出口4b的设置方向基本上与中心轴垂直交叉并位于中心轴侧部。
第一气体出口4a的直径大于第二气体出口的直径4b。
如图2所示,大于气体出口4a***第一气室1a内,而第二气体出口4b***第二气室1b内。
在设有这种结构的侧部气囊装置中,在车辆受到侧部撞击或翻倒的情况下,气体发生器3喷出气体。气体从喷气嘴5喷出,分别通过气体分配器4的气体出口4a和4b流入第一气室1a和第二气室1b,充满气室1a和1b。这样,如图1所示,沿座位10的靠窗侧设置气囊1。在此情况下,第一气体出口4a的直径大于第二气体出口4b的直径,因此,输送到第一气室1a的气体量比第二气室1b多,压力也较第二气室1b大。因此,第一气室1a充满内部压力很高的气体,并承受乘客腰部的侧向运动。填充在第二气室1b内的气体的内部压力比第一气室1a低,可以优选为柔软地承受乘客身体的右上半部。
在此实施例中,气体发生器3是普通类型的,对气体分配器4进行式样改进,因此成本很低。还有,可根据气室1a和1b的内部目标压力,设计气体分配器4的气体出口4a和4b的开孔。
在上述实施例中,由于第一气室1a处于高压之下,因此环绕第一气室1a片式材料可以是高气密性的。还有,形成第一气室1a的片式材料的接合部分(例如接缝)也是高气密性的。
在上述实施例中,侧部气囊1分成两个气室,但是,也可将其分成三个或更多个气室,而且气体分配器4可分成三个或更多个气体出口。
气体分配器4可由金属、合成树脂或者陶瓷制成。但是,在本发明中,气体分配器可由布料制成。
在上述实施例中,气体发生器是圆柱形的,但是气体发生器也可以是各种各样的形状,例如可采用圆盘形。除了应用于侧部气囊装置之外,本发明还可应用于各种类型的气囊装置。
如上所述,根据本发明,在对分成气囊的气室进行充气时,可单独设定压力。
Claims (5)
1.一种气囊装置,包括:
气囊,该气囊的内部分成多个气室;以及
气体发生器,用于对气囊进行充气,其特征在于:
气体发生器设置在气囊内部,气体从共用的气体发生器被直接引导至每一个气室。
2.如权利要求1所述的气囊装置,其特征在于:把设有多个气体出口的气体分配器安装在气体发生器的喷气嘴上;并且
通过该气体分配器的气体出口把气体输送到每一气室。
3.如权利要求2所述的气囊装置,其特征在于:根据每一气室的膨胀特性设定气体出口的开孔。
4.如权利要求2所述的气囊装置,其特征在于,喷气嘴配置在气体发生器的一端,而且气体分配器也配置在气体发生器的所述一端。
5.如权利要求2所述的气囊装置,其特征在于,气体分配器安装在气体发生器上,从而围绕所述喷气嘴。
