Table lamp with a mirror surrounding the light bulb and an outer envelope glass. In order to make the lighting of work surfaces, especially desks, lights with table effective, it has already been proposed to combine the incandescent lamp with a one-sided mirror that directs part of the light rays in a certain, preferred direction. By means of a second mirror, which is formed by the lamp bell, further light rays should be thrown onto the first mirror and from there also be deflected in the preferred direction.
According to the invention, which relates to a similar table lamp with a mirror surrounding the incandescent lamp and an outer glass envelope, the arrangement is now made in such a way that the support tube between the glass envelope and the mirror extends into the upper half of the envelope glass and starts here a holding device is attached to it, which carries the envelope glass, the mirror, the lamp holder and the end cap. The drawing shows in a z. T. cut elevation an Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention.
1 is the foot of the Tischleuahte with the switch 2. On the side of the foot is immovable Lich the support tube 3 attached, which extends into the upper half of this glass envelope, 5 and at its upper end also immobile Lich a holding device 4 for the other parts of the Table lamp sits. In the illustrated embodiment, this holding device forms an annular plate, on whose outer edge which is bent downward, the translucent glass envelope 5 rests.
The incandescent lamp socket 7 is fastened to the bent-up inner edge 6 of the holding device so that it can rotate about the horizontal axis 8 and be locked (not shown). Next, a bearing ring 9 is attached to the trotting device 4 for the bell-shaped mirror 10, 11 surrounding the incandescent lamp.
Its lower part is circular in cross section and parabolically curved and mirrored in longitudinal section, and its upper part 11 is translucent. The socket is adjusted in such a way that the light system of the light bulb is outside the center axis of the mirror. On the upward inner edge 6 of the support device 4, an angle 12 is also attached to which a metallic end cap 13 is attached by a screw 14; From this end cap forms the continuation of the envelope glass 5 and connects to this above.
After removing the cap 13, the lines and the socket are accessible so that the socket can be easily connected.
Because the lighting system is eccentric in the bell mirror, a part of the light rays is thrown onto the work surface in the direction of the arrow a. In order to divert some of the light rays running in the opposite direction, also in the preferred direction, the mirror can be provided with a cylindrical projection 15, which is mirrored on the half facing the trot arm, while the other half consists of clear glass . So that this part of the mirror does not protrude from the envelope glass, the envelope glass can be extended further downwards. The ge through the upper part 11 of the mirror going light rays, z.
B. the light beam b, hit the support device 4 formed on the underside reflecting rend and are thrown back from there scattered. They serve to lighten the envelope glass 5 from the inside. The arrangement can be made so that the luminance of the enveloping glass corresponds approximately to the luminance on the work surface, so that the eye does not have to adjust when looking up. The mirrored part of the mirror extends so far upwards that no light rays passing through the non-mirrored part can directly strike zones of the enveloping glass that are visible from the outside.
You can train the support device considerably Lich smaller, as indicated by dotted lines at 4 ', and let the glass envelope 5 go up to this support device. If the envelope glass is made of opal glass, the upper part, which is hit by the direct rays of the light source, also acts as a light-scattering reflector. The rays passing through the glass at this point are intercepted by the metal cap 18 above.
The mirror light described is characterized by a simple structure and favorable light distribution. Tilting and swivel joints on the foot and on the upper part of the lamp are unnecessary, as the lamp as a result of the favorable terms. Light utilization can be set up far away from the work surface, so that there is a large free, well-lit work surface without additional alignment of the luminous flux being necessary. Compared to the usual table lamps without a mirror, after tests carried out on the work surface, about four times the illuminance is achieved.
The fact that the incandescent lamp socket can be pivoted makes it very easy to correctly set the incandescent lamp, which can be further improved in that it is also axially adjustable. The mirror used can be mass-produced cheaply.
The assembly of the lamp, which consists of a few individual parts, can be carried out very quickly and conveniently, so that the lamp can be dismantled for shipping and reassembled later without difficulty.
