Abstract

é descrito um método de síntese para fabricar um xerogel orgânico com base em isocianato tendo uma densidade baixa (isto é <400 kg/m3) e um tamanho de poro pequeno (<150 nm) em combinação com uma área de superfície específica >100 m2/g. o método de síntese evita ou reduz a contração do gel durante a etapa de remoção do solvente é caracterizado pela etapa em que o solvente orgânico usado para sintetizar o xerogel orgânico com base em isocianato é substituído por água tal que durante a etapa de remoção do solvente apenas água necessita ser removida para secar a rede porosa e para obter o xerogel orgânico com base em isocianato.
