Abstract

Se proveen polinucleótidos aislados y constructos de ácido nucleico que comprenden una secuencia de ácido nucleico con una identidad de, al menos, el 80% con respecto a la secuencia de ácido nucleico seleccionada del grupo formado por los SEQ ID Nº 1 - 469 y 785 - 2397; y polipéptidos aislados que comprenden una secuencia aminoácida con una homología de, al menos, el 80% con respecto a la secuencia aminoácida seleccionada del grupo formado por las SEQ ID Nº 470 - 784 y 2398 - 3818. Además, se proveen plantas transgénicas que los expresan y métodos para utilizarlos para mejorar la eficacia en el uso de nitrógeno, rendimiento, biomasa, tasa de crecimiento, vigor, contenido de aceite, rendimiento de la fibra, calidad de la fibra, y/o tolerancia al estrés abiótico de una planta.
