Abstract

Un sistema para proporcionar notificación acerca de la presencia de animales que transitan dentro de áreas en las cuales su presencia pueden ocasionar peligro, y en especial, que indique la presencia de animales que transiten las vías de ferrocarril o cualquier otras rutas de mucho tráfico. Una cantidad de animales (animales líderes) son equipados con una unidad electrónica que contiene un receptor GPS y un transceptor GSM. La posición es transferida por la vía de una red GSM hacia un centro de control. La parte crítica de una ruta de comunicación es incluida dentro de zonas de seguridad definidas por líneas limítrofes virtuales. Las posiciones de las líneas limítrofes son de igual modo registradas en el centro de control. El centro de control compara las posiciones de los animales y de las líneas limítrofes registrando los animales que cruzan las líneas limítrofes entrando en las zonas de seguridad. Esto se puede notificar en una página de red, que se puede leer en los terminales a bordo de los vehículos/ trenes. De manera alternativa, el vehículo puede estar equipado con una unidad electrónica correspondiente que transfiere sus posiciones al centro de control. El centro de control puede entonces alertar al conductor del vehículo/ tren en el caso de la presencia de animales en el camino, /trayecto de la vía de ferrocarril.
